The title should be enough, but how cool would it be to be able to see yourself inside your ship, having storage inside, maybe a grimoire database which also shows weapon/armor stats. Slaying certain bosses or reaching certain goals would award you with a trophy (Example: Slaying Skolas would give you one of his armor pieces to display). There are only a few ship designs used in the game, with most ships being slightly changed and recoloured. They could all have different interiors with the raid/special ships having a theme to them, like hive 'corruption' growing inside of the crota ships, the vog ships could have vex machinery, IB ship could have trophy walls, I could go on for ages. Decor and wall/floor colours could be created from raw materials, you could make your ship unique to you. Friends could join you, and whilst waiting in orbit you could have your fireteam members chatting inside one ship. A good example of the ship idea is in Warframe, which does this to a lesser extent.
