I have been thinking about this for a while now and I cant diside which one to use for crucible. Red Death - Red death is a great weapon and has been out ever since destiny came out. It is one of the best exotics for pve and PvP. And really helpful on crota hard. (Solo and co-op) because it has the perk RED DEATH which heals you up and increases reload speed. And if you did not know already on crota hard you can not regen your health. And this is where red death comes in handy. And if your about to die by a thorn in crucible you can kill them and regen (like a boss) Red Death in crucible is a 2 burst to the head when fully maxed out. Red Death is a Pulse rifle. The Messenger - The Messenger is a great weapon and has Been out ever since house of wolves came out. Its a legendary pulse rifle that is a 2 burst to the head. The messenger is mostly for PvP but its really good in pve too. If you earn this weapon from the lighthouse then you can get a burn on it. Such as void burn, solar burn and arc burn. If your doing a nightfall and the nightfall has one of these burns this is where messenger comes in handy I'm pve. The Messenger has a slower fire rate then Red Death but Messenger does more damage. The Messenger has a Perk called Third eye, with this perk you can see your radar while aiming this weapon. Which is mostly made for Crucible. Just to see if anyone is behind you :). The Messenger is a Pulse Rifle.
