Overpowered: Spawning on the Dreadnought with no fight to get there.

This is one thing that the Bungie story got wrong about Mars. The Cabal Warmachine occupies Mars, surrounds it, you look up at the sky and there are the ships... and yet you spawn in the "Exclusion Zone" with no acknowledgement of any difficulty reaching orbit, entering the atmosphere, etc. Now with The Taken King we find out we're going to spawn directly on the Dreadnought, the flagship of an entire fleet of warships.. will there be any acknowledgement of the difficulty getting there? Even a cursory remark about the fight to get there would be welcome.

  • False. We're spawning at the back of a cobal/hive crossfire where they don't give $#'* about us

    • If you look at the Grimoire cards, Rasputin did air strikes against the Cabal and Vex after we opened up the Array. The Cabal may have thought "look more strikes" when we were landing on Mars, not mention they are focusing all their efforts fighting the Vex and exploring the lost city of Freehold. Now in the Taken King Trailer, the Cabal have invaded the Dreadnought which is convenient for us to get in almost unnoticed.
