Idea for a boss fight:
You have a boss which moves around the boss room, this boss deals constant damage to everything (by everything I mean the players) in an area around him, except a small area right around him.
This boss moves slowly in the beginning and the lower its health drops the faster it moves, and finally he teleports as well.
There would be other enemies as well spawning, that you would have to deal with while still following the boss.
There should be some more mechanics to it, like an overheat phase.
During this phase the boss would heat up and deal damage to the area close around it. The players would then need to do something (not sure what yet) to cool it down again. While overheating, the area which is being damaged is constantly expanding, and I think there should be a reward for finishimg this fast or punishment for taking long.
In addition, the boss takes less damage during this time (trying to prevent it just being burned down, by forcing the players to cool it down first).
One could maybe add some more phases like an AoE phase, where the boss starts launching AoEs around the room, that the players would have to avoid.
This boss fight is supposed to force the players to focus on mobility, and close ranged combat, since destiny so far, to me, seems to lack of those types of bosses.
Please leave some opinions and some criticism in comments and help improving this fight!
And bump if you like the idea so that more can see this :)
