On The Bright Side should count as an Iron Banner win

You load up a game of Iron Banner. You're able to actually spawn in on a new game and your idiot teammates blind rush all the choke points and get massacred over and over to the thorn+grenade spam. On the other hand you are kicking ass and taking names and you get something like 30+ kills and over 5k points trying to bring this team out of the ground. But it's not enough and your team loses. "On The Bright Side!" And "Objectively Correct!" Show up on your screen as you get slapped in the face with your fifth medallion. You see the scoreboard as you fail to comprehend just how bad you have to be to score less than a thousand points in a control game, get like one kill and 20 deaths and not even touch a control point let alone capture one. And then you look to your stack of medallions and realize that to Lord Saladin, your 30+ kills and over 5k points and zone controls and recaptures by yourself are just as worthless as that guy's rubberbanding. Most games of Iron Banner are half fighting the enemy team and half fighting you own team's randoms who I sincerely believe are plants by the enemy team to make us lose or actual plants. Imagine a cactus just sitting there with a ps4 controller and that's who's at the bottom of the scoreboard every game. If Iron Banner is a test of skill then skilled players who perform well despite having horrible teammates should be rewarded. Getting "On The Bright Side" should count as an Iron Banner win for just you. I would say objectively correct should count as well because it's control but it would directly reward the idiots that try to capture all three zones and lose games. If capturing a third zone counted as a negative for that medal then it would work but On The Bright Side means you had the best score in the game, even over your enemies and that should mean you were victorious in the Iron Banner.

  • I get your point but unfortunately, You play as a team, you lose/win as a team. Getting an "On the Bright Side" or "Objectively Correct" is lack a backhanded compliment. lol
