Like many of you out there, I ran out of vault space in the early months of Destiny, so I scrapped a bunch of my old items. I said, "this Zombie Apocalypse, Supremacy, Queens Guard Plate (and soooo many more) won't be useful any longer, but these new weapons and armor from the Dark Below will". Oh how wrong and disappointing one year ago me was. Luckily, I kept my Shadow Price and Queen's Guard Helm on Xbox One (for whatever reason). Though I was thinking recently, wouldn't it be awesome if Bungie did a throwback playlist, for both Crucible and Vanguard Strikes, that could allow us to grab some of those old weapons and armor one last time before the release of The Taken King? This would allow people like me to get some of that gear back I destroyed (Xbox One). And it would also allow people like me who got the game much later (PS4) to get some of that nice gear. Now I don't only want the gear because of the sweet stats, but also because of the look of the items. Most of the were more cosmetically appealing than the ones we have now, in my personal opinion anyway. Another MASSIVE reason I would love to get this gear is because of the lack of content. Between DLC's, there is only ONE set of Vanguard and Crucible gear for sale, and it takes MONTHS to get new DLC. Don't like it, well that's too freaking bad, because that's all you're getting! All Bungie would have to do is create a rotation in which gear from the vanilla game and The Dark Below would randomly be at the Vanguard and Crucible dealers. It just seems so simple in my eyes. What do you guys think? EDIT: I've heard rumors of some vanilla gear making a return as faction gear in The Taken King. Any images, videos, source, etc. would be great. Thanks!
