Which Pulse Rifle should I be aiming for?
Guys I need your help,
I'm new to Destiny's world, started playing 2 weeks ago and I'm really enjoying the game so far.
So, I've just reached level 32 and now I see Legendaries and Exotics more often, so I'm trying to build my hunter with the weapon I liked most: The Pulse Rifles
Since the beginning I loved those rifles, But 'til now I couldn't find a variety of them that fits well on PvP.
I see you guys talking about Red Death etc. Is there any other Pulse Rifles that are REALLY worth in the game? I feel that players that enjoy playing with pulse rifles lack on the diversity that other player can find in Hand Cannons etc.

Edited by CannyJack: 7/30/2015 1:15:23 PMDepends on what you like - there are the high-ROF, low-impact group, which includes cool items like Oversoul Edict, Praedyth's Timepiece, and Bad Juju. I like them all, but more for PvE than PvP. However, Praedyth's Timepiece is apparently really good in PvP too. Then there's the mid-rof, mid-impact ones, like 55A-AllFATE. That is a really nice gun for PvP (for now, though that group is getting a nerf), and for PvE I'm sure it's fine -- I just tend to use weapons with elemental damage in PvE. Finally, the lower-rof, high-impact ones - The Messenger (Trials of Osiris loot), Spare Change (crucible drop) and Hopscotch Pilgrim (dragon strike drop) seem to fit this group. I use Spare Change in Iron Banner and it's been quite solid. I hear Hopscotch Pilgrim is amazing in PvP, but I don't have one. I don't have a Messenger either, but it's also supposed to be kickass. Note: all of this assumes that you get good perks -- Hopscotch and AllFate can, for instance, reach max stability and are, as people put it, "lasers."

I'm having fun with Hopscotch Pilgrim in IB at the moment Can't go wrong with Strangers rifle either in normal crucible

55A-allFate, Spare Change .25 and Hopscotch Pilgrim are all pretty good

For PVE Bad Juju Legendary for PVP: Messenger (only obtained through trials of Osiris), Hop Scotch Pilgrim, 55a-All Fate. Messenger is the best of those because of third Eye. 2 best are Messenger and Red Death. I prefer Messenger for 2 reasons. Third eye, and saves exotic slot for Truth. Hope this helps.

Trials of Osiris one. Hopscotch Pilgrim and Spare change are good also.
