Halo Reach Custom game matchmaking idea

We could just have multiple accounts that are dedicated to connecting people who want to play custom games. I made a few accounts for that purpose: HRCA001 - 98/100 HRCA002 - 94/100 HRCA003 - 5/100 HRCA004 - 4/100 HRCA005 - 6/100 rules are simple. - I'll fill the friends list on each account. >Each person is the friend of one of the accounts - When you send a party chat to an account you aren't a friend of, you browse their friends list for any custom games, then cancel the party chat invite when you're done Basically this allows us to just browse friends lists for any custom games going on. If you don't want anyone to join, close the party or set to invite only. I'll do my best to list how many people are on the friends lists on these accounts to see how full it is. If anyone wants to make their version of these accounts just list them here. BTW HRCA stands for Halo Reach Custom Account. I abbreviated them so it would be easy to type in multiple gamertags as people type in their name. Any questions? Video the video is old now. there is no longer a limit for the HRCA friends and you should send a party chat invite to browse another account's friends list. Gigantic update/ General info: The different part about this idea is to have each person only on one account's list so that the same person will not be on more than one account. That way your friends list isn't crowded and the HRCA lists don't waste any space. If you are going to make new accounts, just list the exact gamertag here and how full each one is. I would make more myself, but it would be hard to manage a lot of them.
yea i agree i dnt need some random messing up a private game
Just set the party to invite only if you dont want anyone to join until you are ready for them. Otherwise honor-based games would not work if someone doesn't get the rules first, yeah. This could also work to try to get people to test your latest forge map. fyi everybody, I am not adding people on the account myself, otherwise It would take a very long time. • Agreed on the name change. The words Custom Game Matchmaking should definitely be in the title of the thread. Probably just call it custom game matchmaking friendlist, or custom game matchmaking solved (or solution maybe). But those three words I imagine are being searched a lot. If nothing else some pc folks probably bought this because they saw it had some limited sdk-ish elements and now they're like, "Well surely bungie included some way for the average person to actually play this (LOL WRONG! Common sense ftl) lets search the forum. I haven't played any yet as I still don't have a mic and I don't want to join and then just get immediately booted b/c I have no mic. It really sucks too, because I played one and a half days of reach matchmaking and by then I hated it, now the most I can get in is a game or two and I'm just disgusted and quit. Matchmaking systems and reach's in particular are just horrible idiocy. They should only ever be used for a SEPARATE ranked section of the game. I was actually going to try to stomach some matchmaking just to get the eva helmet, which looks pretty neat, until I realized that it apparently doesn't matter if I do well or badly I always get the same scores (the performance is always the smallest score, lol, even when I go on a massive killing spree and demolish the enemy team and win it for mine). So basically I bought this game, and it seems to have a lot of potential although basically to me it just looks like halo2 with better graphics (never played 3 except on a friend's box, and I didn't buy it for that same reason, it looked like halo2 except WITHOUT even having better graphics. It was basically just a reboxing, except for forge which wasn't even a legit map editor until the users found a way to glitch around its shortcomings) but I just can't play it. After three or four rounds of matchmaking getting every one of my most hated gametypes and maps I quit, because what's the point in playing games you hate? There's not even a point in trying to get unlocks because not only are they worthless but apparently I can't get them any faster by playing well, just by farming in firefight and trying to get dumbass achievements or commendations or whatever they call them.
