The big list of suggestions to improve the experience

First off I'll say, I love the game. I genuinely mean this, but at the same time this has got to be the most conflicting gaming experience for me. I don't mean to bad mouth the developers and only mean to provide suggestions for improvement and alternatives to what I think are limiting and odd design choices. I just see what is probably the most potential for a game I can think of and I want it to be my favorite game. I want it to stand the test of time. I want it to be the amazing thing it could be. As it is now though, it is very rigid. It's unnecessarily limited. With that said, here is my big list of suggestions: 1. All weapons, upgrade materials, consumables, and shaders/emblems should be accessible at any time with any character while in orbit. Since all these are interchangeable between characters anyway, why force us to go through multiple loading screens to do it. The more we spend time actually playing the better for us and for the developers. 2. Shaders equippable to sparrows, ships and weapons. I don't feel particularly unique. 3. Transmogrification for legendary gear. Exotic gear has stories and is unique so I would leave them as is aside from changing the color scheme. 4. The ability to place a faction logo on any legendary weapon which will have a slight rep gain percentage for kills with said weapon. 5. Tiered patrols. Basically there should be more complex patrols. Every time you take a patrol mission there is a slight chance to trigger a multiple objective patrol that takes the player(s) to multiple locations to complete multiple objectives and it is worth more rep, a few marks, a chance for ascendant materials, and a rare or legendary engram with a drop rate similar to that of strike rewards. Also there is a very rare chance to trigger a special patrol mission that alerts other players in the area because it will take the player to fight a boss level character that they will likely not be able to kill themselves. It triggers like s public event and anyone that joins reaps the rewards, which would be the same as the previously mentioned patrol. 6. This is a big one and I don't know how feasible it is. Basically, I say leave story strikes to just that, the story. They are unique events and redoing story missions dulls the story and bosses associated with them. I think that they should use these four playgrounds to their full potential. This is what the strike playlists should be like. Drop a fireteam on a planet and send them to 3 random locations with random objectives in a row followed by a random boss. All appropriately themed. Re-skin and resize the existing bosses. The strike would be to eliminate a random Hive abomination, a Fallen house leader, a Vex mind, or a Cabal military leader. It would keep things fresh as well as create a sense of actually continually accomplishing something. As opposes to taking the same paths and killing the same enemies and killing the same boss hundreds of times. There is no variance. 7. Change the daily mission to somethig similar to the above, just not as difficult. No new planets required. No new areas required. The above two suggestions don't require any new content aside from changing the appearance of enemies. Again, experiencing the exact same missions and bosses dulls the experience and detracts from the significance of the events. 8. Change the Nighfall to a defend the city event with the same weekly reward system. Up the count to 4-6 Guardians and make it an arena with waves of enemies. Maybe 10 waves with the last being a boss. 9. Introduce faction story missions and faction bounties. Have factions sell there own unique shaders, sparrows, and ships while keeping it as it is now where special ones are only attainable through packages from leveling said faction. 10. Make arenas similar to PoE a Vanguard event as a PvE alternative to the Crucible for players that prefer PvE. Compete in the arena for a faction or the Vanguard to gain rep. 11. Sparrow races. Compete for a faction or the Vanguard to gain rep. 12. Loremaster and/or library with time line of events that you can click on and read about the events and characters. Unique things related to exotics would be unlockable from earning the Grimoire card for it. 13. The ability to reforge legendary armor which changes the perks. 14. Can I get a minimal amount of glimmer and weapon parts for dismantling sparrows and ships? 15. Ghost shells. Seriously. It's a simple cosmetic thing. Why are there none yet aside from the CE? Can I at least use a shader to change his color?

  • - Selling of weapon parts with the vanguard quartermaster, crucible quartermaster, or both. - Selling of armor materials (hadronic essence, sapphire wire, plasteel plating) with the vanguard quartermaster, crucible quartermaster or both. - Raise glimmer cap (50,000 or more). - All enemies (fallen, hive, vex, cabal) drop glimmer depending on how they are classified (dregs x1, shanks 5x, vandals x10, captains x15). Majors, regardless of classification will drop 25 glimmer. - More vault space (20 more in armor, weapons, general). - Make separate weapon buffs and/or nerfs for pve and pvp. - Expand exotic weapons, class items and armor quantities by making bounties and side missions specific to each faction (Future War Cult, New Monarchy, Dead Orbit). - More shaders to buy with Lavante. Sell all faction shaders and ships within each faction. Specific sparrows per faction. - Allow to paint sparrows, weapons and individual armor parts with shaders. - Allow to paint ghost with shaders as well. Ghost should do more that just open doors and be a flashlight. - Transmogrification. - First person view with sparrow (optional with a press of a button). - Add abilities to all types of class items. - When doing a patrol mission, add factions points to the faction of that specific patrol, regardless of the class item equipped. - Option to select a starting point when selecting patrol missions. - Designate specific crucible weapons (non rare, legendary, exotic) for regular crucible ( excluding Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris) to avoid bias to specific weapons. - Allow to select perks when performing reforging of weapons. - Matchmaking for Prison of Elders, since its not a raid. - When using a ammo synthesis, the cooldown will not affect the other ammo synthesis types (i.e. using a special ammo synthesis and having to wait 5 minutes to use a heavy ammo synthesis). - Range area in the tower or reef where players can test weapon perks before going on missions. - Experience bar on bottom of screen to see light level progress (like it was before reaching lvl 20). - Allow a grimoire section on the menu to read grimoire card in the game, instead of using the app or browser. I know this is my own personal wishlist, but i dont think some of these changes should be too hard to implement.
