Theories Hive 4

Any ideas on the lore of 4 phrases Eir, Ur, Xol Yul? I realize each swarm prince representing one and wizards of their spawn. Toland claims to be on a trail of a 5th phrase, "faintly heard from the buzz that once spilled from the shrine" which suggests the Shrine of Oryx, also suggesting the 5th phrase is or relates to Oryx. Toland also suggests that these may be their Gods, or Idols. Or that they may hold key to their ultimate demise, or a bridge to their desires. Thanks guys, please comment any theories or ideas below!

  • I believe that the fifth sound Toland found was "Akka". Xol and the other three were the worms that formed The Hive. Check out the grimoire card "Book of Sorrow IX"

    • Yea, maybe it's some manner of hive religion. Each one either representing a deity or perhaps a "faction" among the darkness. For example, Oryx would represent the deity/faction of corruption (for obvious reasons) maybe the others are things like suffering, terror, sorrow, hatred, etc... For this to be true however, that would mean that the normal Hive are "footsoldiers" for the Hive pantheon/darkness. They have no allegiance to any one of the deities/factions. They are loyal instead to the darkness/pantheon as a whole
