Legendary Guns VS Exotic Guns

Before all these nifty Expansions came out, there was a distinct difference between Legendary and Exotic weapons, which where: - The color of their icons - Their perks and upgrades - Their Attack values <--- This is the Important one Remember when having a brand new Exotic weapon meant having a Base Attack of 260, whereas a brand new Legendary weapon would have a Base Attack of 248? Well, not anymore. With Ascension in HoW any Legendary can be an easy way around an Exotic. Take Matador 64 for example, blow all your Motes of Light on it until you get a set of two perks together; perks like: Hammer Forged, Range Finder, Shot Package, Smallbore, Rifled Barrel, etc... what are you left with? A Legendary that could easily replace Universal Remote. See where I'm going with this? With both guns being able to reach the max attack of 365, the only difference is that Exotics have unique perks not found on any other gun. So then, what are my reasons to use Universal Remote over Matador 64, Party Crasher +1 or Felwinter's Lie? Sadly, none. Except from the fact that Universal Remote is fun to use. That's about it. Exotic guns need to have an advantage over Legendary guns. I personally think that bringing back the "Base Attack damage on Exotic guns being higher than Legendary guns" would help, if not fix this issue.
