Raid Ideas

This is my idea for what would be an End-Game type of raid for when Destiny hits the end of it's ten year life cycle. I've placed the Raid Idea in A Spoiler to make it easier to make it too the comments. Enjoy! [spoiler]At this point in time the Guardians believe themselves to be close to liberating our Solar System from Darkness, but they could never have anticipated this. The Raid starts as if you would enter the Towet usually, but the sky is grey, rain is coming with small breaks of Sunlight upon the Traveler. You and your fireteam explore the Tower until you enter the area where the Iron Banner usually takes place. In the distance, you see a cargo ship, it's brighter than usual. It crashes right in front of you. At this point it starts raining, and alarmsbegin ringing. You scavenge the wreckage to find the relic for the Raid, the Hand of Light, a glove created by the Speaker using Motes of Light to combat even the darkest enemy. Heading out of the area and back into the Main HUB, you hear the sudden roaring of engines, above you three Fallen Ketch emerge, and one is shot down by a beam of the Traveler, still able to defend itself. Crashing down into the city, one skiff manages to escape in time. It crashes down in front of your fireteam. The skiff exploded, and inside lays a Fallen Captain who appears to have emerged from the Darkness itself. To defeat the Captain, you must blind him using the gauntlet, temporarily exposing him to gunfire. Repeating this multiple times will eventually kill him. The Captain can absorb bullets, and strengthen his abilities. After his death, you see the City is now under full siege, Everyone is gone now, either dead or able to escape. An evacuation of the city is in the process, but you need to defend the shuttles. Your ghost teleports you to the Starport, and you witness one massive shuttle manage to ligt off, only to be shot down by a Ketch. Skiffs begin landing down on the port, people are still boarding. Each fireteam member is in charge of an individual ship, each with their owb problem, malfunction, engine failure, etc. you nust defend the ships and fix the problems. After this, all ships take off, and you must operate the guns to hopefully escape the Ketch. If yoy do manage to make it out of the City, a Fallen Blockage still stands, you are teleported to the Ketch, and must fight to the Bridge, and defeat the Kell of Darkness Spawn. Using the Gauntlet, you must call upon larger amounts of light to weaken the Kell. To do this, the relic holder must temporarily sacrifice himself so that the light will empower the guns to injure the Kell. Relic holder must be able to escape Purgatory to self revive before dying completely. If the wlic holder is able to escape fast, he will be able to do high amounts of damage with the glove. This concluded the raid. [/spoiler]

  • Really cool idea, though the idea that the main enemy form this "end of life cycle" raid is a Fallen Kell is a bit of a strange one. Kinda seems anticlimactic in the scheme of things.
