Is Husk of the Pit still obtainable?
So is husk of the pit still an obtainable drop after the House of Wolves launch? I can't seem to find a definitive answer, and I don't want to waste time farming Fist of Crota for nothing. Any info would be appreciated.

Yes.....had one drop in the Fist of Crota this afternoon.

Yeah you wanna hear the cruelty of ignorance? I got the game...oh in February when I got my PS4. Got the Husk of the Pit about three weeks later on a patrol on earth with one of the random Blades of Crota encounters. Thought, oh that's a crappy little common gun...DISMANTLE! Little did I know...little did I know :'(

5 RepliesIt's obtainable, but it's much harder to come across one nowadays. You just have to farm Fist of Crota for as long as it takes. To make it less boring, may I suggest putting on music, joining a party and getting lots of tasty food.

So I don't feel like going through all the comments and searching for if you got a correct answer, but yes the husk of the pit is still available. The blades of Crota no longer show up, but you can still find one blade of Crota doing the fist of Crota mission. :)

After i did the storyline, i joined my friend who was farming for it, and first kill got it. Thia was wayyy back when dlc came out tho so idk, after that first drop i couldnt get it again for about 5 hrs of farming

22 RepliesHi OrangeShadow, Husk of the pit can still be obtained. To obtain it play the Fist Of Crota mission in earth and kill the Blade of Crota. If you do not obtain it that time leave and play it again=) Hope it helps=)
