Vault space. Not a couple slots.
I know you are reading Bungie.
We NEED a significant amount of vault space. How do you expect us to deal with weapons when TTK arrives?
How hard can it be? Give us pages instead of 2 extra slots. We need at least 5 pages in the bank. And don't tell me a multi million company doesn't have good devs to pull this off.
We don't want to delete weapons. In a game like this, it is an insult to have so little vault space. Make it happen.

They said three things when they updated the vault space last time: 1. The last vault expansion was just a band-aid. 2. They are working on expanding it further. 3. The issue was memory limitations, specifically on PS3/X360

6 RepliesEdited by A Squirrel73: 7/7/2015 12:41:49 AMIt is unbelievable how stupid some of you people are, old gear is supposed to not be as good as new ones so that there is an incentive to play the new high level content. What broke the game is Bungie just giving casuals the old max level through vanguard and crucible armour which should have been left at level 28/29 so then you would have to play VoG to get to 30, Crota to get to 32 and PoE to get to 34. This would mean that older gear would not be useless to new players and there would be no way for them to completely skip the older content. It is so frustrating when you get idiots that think just because they have been given level 32 instantly they are good enough to do VoG hard mode straight off, no you are not go learn the raid and get the right weapons for it. Yes it may seem like old weapons become useless to people who are above the old max levels but that's what is supposed to happen in loot based games! It gives an incentive to play the newer content and get even better gear to become more powerful and be able to play the high level content To all you people saying that you'd quit if they do this, good go play another game because you clearly do not understand how this game should have worked which was not helped by the stupid stuff Bungie introduced

2 RepliesI am a person who has been collecting guns some for my use and other to say that i have that but once you have almost all the raid weapons and exotics your vault and inventory is so full of stuff the only space you have left is the postmaster please consider making a system to get more vaults space Ps you could add a vendor/modify a vendor that can sell you extra vault page( these pages could be bought rows at a time)

Agreed! I know you cant hoard all weapons, but I like using different weapons every now and then. Switching weapons refreshes the gameplay for me, and new guns can get old so then I can go back to old stuff.

1 ReplyAgree. You guys make all these cool weapons and we can't even collect them. What's the point of having so many guns anyway? The need for organized hierarchical vault space is outa control. Check how many players leave lost items at the postmaster for extended periods of time. We're waiting for more space to keep stuff!!!!

The sad part is, when they check for players' stats on Vault Space, I'm certain that half of us have already deleted a ton of our valued keepsakes purely because there wasn't enough Vault Space. I used to have the Vanquisher Auto Rifle from New Monarchy, and all sorts of other great and interesting weapons. But the lack of Vault Space and the assumption they wouldn't buff Auto Rifles made me delete it. Along with other Legendaries and even some Exotics I decided weren't worth ascending (mostly because ascending takes a ton of mats I just don't have the time to farm for and can't buy otherwise. I'm looking at you, Weapon Parts.) Not even Vault Space will make us throw money at the screen, Bungie, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't do it.

This is my own post regarding this. *WARNING: this is a TL;DR* The Struggle for Vault Space Current Vault and Character Space: 30 Weapon Slots per Character, 36 Vault Weapon Spaces; 126 Weapon Slots Given that there is 9 weapons per set (Hand Cannon, Pulse Rifle, Auto Rifle, Scout Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Fusion Rifle, Shotgun, Machine Gun and Rocket Launcher) this conversation address the lack of sufficient vault space for the Destiny Legend to have all his weapon needs met and Collectors of the sort as well. - 9 Raid Weapons per Raid Set (so 18 total) - 9 Queen's Weapons - 9 Trials of Osiris Weapons - 9 Prison of Elders Weapons - 9 DLC 1 and DLC 2 Weapons (18 total) - 9 Faction Weapons per Faction [(Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, Future War Cult)(27 total, not including previous generation faction weapons)] - 35+ Exotic Weapons - 9 Vanguard & 9 Crucible Weapons (not including previous generation weapons) - 9 Non-Faction Weapons (not including previous generation weapons) This calculation brings to attention a minimum of 152 weapon spaces, and given that there is only 126 total from each character and the vault, there is 26 weapons missing that someone would not be able to have.

4 RepliesI appreciated the previous increase to vault space but I honestly need more general vault space, not just weapons I enjoy collecting shaders and shards and what not, but at least increase all vault categories to 50, I believe we would appreciate that.

If DPS was actually reading and following the Feedback, they would know what a HOT topic this is. It would be no problem to at least DOUBLE the Vault space. Just like they would know that making old weapons obsolete is a bad idea. Weapons deletion should be the players choice, NOT Bungie.

I think there intention with vault space is to create rarity. Force people to delete what they really dont use. So horde your faves and not all of destiny as it were. Dosent mean I dont think they shouldnt have something for shaders and stuff.

If this is true, I'm highly considering quitting destiny. I try to keep 1 of everything, mainly raid and ToO weapons/gear, because they come from RNG. Also, what happens if they decide to buff or nerf weapons? I'd be pissed if I had to get rid of it because of vault space and not choice, only to have to try farm it again.

Edit: forgot to say that I got an auto rifle and sniper from crucible. And I have them in my postmaster waiting. ( postmaster: vault space)

Yeah.,. I've dismantled a lot of my old stuff, but I still find I have trouble finding vault spsce for even all the new weapons I want to try. Even if they just made it one big vault instead of separate for weapons armor etc would be an improvement. I really have no shortage of space to store armor... Most of the armor I use us on my guardians... No lack of space for armor there either. If I could use those armor slots in the vault for weapons that would be nice...

If thats true, I will cancel my preorder. They should give PS4 and Xbox one owners more vault space even if Ps3 cant handle it.. They need to do the best they can to accommodate Next gen consoles.

1 ReplyThere are issues with this for the old gens. Bungie has stated they are looking into a more creative way to deal with our inventories that don't require an insane amount of memory space. Interesting you think bungie should read your post when you don't read their comments about the same thing.
