Do you guys think it would be cool to have your helmet off in PvP and PvE encounters? You'd still have the same perks on the helmet equipped, It just wouldn't show

Sure, it'll be cool! But then it'll require them to animate facial expressions for our characters! For Cutscenes and when you get shot in game. Which I guess is already too late to implement?

*Takes helmet off on the Moon* "Guardian Down"

Let's take off our head protection guys. PVP bullies can't touch this.

Edited by FearAgent89: 7/5/2015 12:00:01 AMDefinitely not in PvP. We need to be able to see the helmets. If you see a Titan standing in a bubble with a Saint 14 helmet, you can expect to get blinded when you go in there. If I'm running toward a Warlock, about to hit a Shoulder Thrust, and I see he's wearing a Ram helmet, I know I'm better off stopping and shooting him with a shotgun.
-
No, the helmet protects your head
-
The face options in this game leave a lot to be desired. I'm a helmet on all the time player. Now I only have the cut scenes to remind me I look stupid.
-
Wouldn't make sense though. You would die quicker and wouldn't be able to breathe on missions that weren't on Earth.
-
It would only make sense for areas on Earth.
-
-
Eso did it
-
Maybe only on earth..?
-
YES! Why would we want to cover our face up in the only areas we can see it? We need to show it off more!
-
Mhm. That would be great
-
That's what HE said to her. BaDooBaDoop
-
No my helmet is badass
-
Invis armour.. TeH lolz
-
I could support this in pve situations

Edited by Dog_Of_War_1138: 7/4/2015 10:45:15 PMThere would be an unfair advantage if you were getting the perk advantage from a Saint-14, for example, but nobody knew you had one until they stepped into your bubble (and went inexplicably blind). So, if you take your helmet off- you lose the perk. How else could it be?
-
Cool. Because soldiers on the battlefield can just take off their helmets and still take just as much damage no problem. The fact of the matter would be that if you could take your helmet off, a headshot should do massive OSOK damage.
-
At times, but then you technically wouldn't be getting perks from it, and technically you might die in the vacuum of space. Unless you're an exo.
