Does .999... = 1?
There seems to be some debate over whether .999...=1 which it isn't. Discuss.

11 RepliesNo, because even if it is infinitely close to one, it is [i]not[/i] equal to one. Screw the trigonometry shit that's being thrown around in the comments, but the fact of the matter is that x=x and x does not equal y.
