Easiest way to get kills for Hydras and Ogres

1 ReplyEdited by kcurt: 7/1/2015 4:06:36 PMOgres: Shrine of Oryx mission. Keep going untill you encounter an Ogre. Kill it then wipe. Hydra: Black Garden Mission. Keep going untill you have to deploy Ghost at those two doors. Kill the Hydra, wipe, repeat. (Edit: Don't deploy your Ghost).

Black garden for hydra, or undying mind. And prison of elders 32 for ogres.

3 RepliesOgres go really fast in prison of elders. There are at least 5 every time you face hive. Hydras are harder. Just run black garden several times.

3 RepliesIm not sure if it would work to farm but on crotas end after the abyss when the bridge forms, if u hang out in the area after you cross and start heading towards the light thrall will appear dispatch them and shortly after ogres will start spawning like crazy

3 RepliesFor ogres, go in to moon patrols and if you go to the temple of crota, there will be a ogre. After u kill him just go back until u exit the part that is listed as temple of crota and come back. for hydras on the other hand, I'm still struggling to find a place for it.

Here is how I did it - Ogre's - Shrine of oryx mission on the lowest level possible, the area right before the shrine an ogre spawns, I would run past adds kill ogre, kill myself then repeat. Hydra's - same concept but on black garden mission. In the area right before you open the door to get to the heart there is a hydra, kill the hydra, kill your self then repeat, I usually will kill about 15 at a time which takes 10 to 15 minutes then go do something out as the grind can be boring. Remember hallowed and special named hydras and ogres will not count towards the grimoire card.

Patrol for the hydras. Go to the portal to the black garden. Kill hydra. Wait. Kill it again. Ogres, kill em on the moon by archers line or earth in the grottos.

Crotas end 1 st part and archon priest strike when you kill the 3 hydras then wipe
