It's a dialect and both are correct for their regions. You will look like a dumb ass if you use either in the wrong region. The debate is stupid, and picking a side is even dumber.

Sorry, America hates u.

Colour. This isn't difficult, people.
-
If you spell it as 'color' you must have Down's syndrome
-
Colour. End of story, people might spell it color, Americans in fact, but they changed it for change sake. Don't fix what is not already broken, unfortunately America attempted to do that with the English language. They failed, mind you. Because out of every other English speaking/spelling country in the world it is still spelt 'colour'.
-
America came from Britain. With Britain, America wouldn't exist or would be wayyyyy different. The British spell it colour therefore it's correct

*They'ir

The US does it right. The extra u is unnecessary.
-
Color is how it's spelled in the U.S. Colour is how it's spelled in England just like the U.S. Spells it armor it's a way of separation from England
-
English is one of the dumbest languages in existence.

It's Canada day, there is only one way to spell it.
Colour
