Almost all Prison of Elders Complaining can be Summarized by this...

The weapons are disappointing. - The ascension system has removed any need to use them. People run PoE for Etheric Light and not much else. - One main perk and a random Fallen perk means that generic legendary weapons are better in many circumstances. - No elements on primary weapons sold by Variks is a bummer. I think that elemental primaries are common enough where it's just an inconvenience to not have an element, rather than special to have one. Improve the weapons and people will feel like their time spent in PoE is more worth it.

  • PoE should have different skulls every time. We've seen the entire rotation of Arenas, and they all have the same rooms and skulls. Change the skulls to be random. Add different critical objectives. It's a nice touch, but right now, there's only three. Adding more would be nice. Everyone gets an elemental primary after defeating Skolas. Once you reach Rank 5 with House of Judgment, you get an elemental primary from Variks. Starting at Rank 3, you get Etheric Light, which was a welcome surprise. Hopefully at the higher ranks, he gifts elemental primaries.

    • They are making the community play more PVP. The best weapons, IMO, are from Trial of Osiris right now. This is what we get from carrying all the noobs while doing Crota.

      • At least judgment chances should give you a possible elemental primary. I don't even bother to use exotic primaries in pve because they lack elements, so really the lack of elementals truly is just hindering any usage of them. While skolas isn't hard, why would I want to waste that much time to possibly get a elemental, noting that vogs guns are still far better? Face it, Poe weapons just suck, as does the queens weapons. Which is sad for pve players, noting that the only good guns are in pvp ( why so PvP players need elements???) And even then they are not as good as vog for pve. Honestly, they need better rewards, something to give me a reason to play it.

      • I agree completely. The weapons flat out suck. Especially since primarys have no burn, like you mentioned. And dont even get me started on the queens catch of shit weapons. Also my personal opinion on the poe armor is that it all looks ridiculously stupid, idk if I'm the only one but I don't think it looks cool at all. Vender armor is way cooler which is sad.

          This is correct as I don't even do the 35 but to help my friends do it as it's the only mildly difficult challenge there is left to do the weapons suck the only two worth having is the shadows of veil and the scout rifle with arc damage as it shoots super fast

        • I agree w/ pretty much everything you mention here. All of the weapons need to be improved upon, whether it being the mag size needing an increase the impact needing to be raised or special perks that need to be added. Next to weapons like fatebringer, VoC, found verdict, black hammmer, ect. all the PoE weapons are pretty underwhelming. Lastly, the "deals moderate bonus damage to Fallen Shanks" needs to be gone and made fun of constantly...change to "deals moderate bonus damage to fallen" and the problem is solved. However, Variks should not be selling elemental primaries. Killing Skolas being the only way to obtain these is the way it should be. Good post

            I am disappointed with randomness o PoE weapons... (I like my HMG at the moment but I wish the perk was a solid equal to previous endgame perks.. + a normalish perk) I would change some older raid weapons, a lil bit, and the new PoE weapons, a fair amount more (but I personally would not add the missing perks to PoE weapons... I am biased and would choose what I liked... XD ) Example of changes to older raid weapons, changing the disruptor perks to include more... -oracle disruptor would do bonus damage to all vex... and to destructibles (oracles, mines, detainment shields, vex gates, ect) -hive disruptor would do bonus damage to all hive, and to all majors (still best against hive majors, but some small bonus outsie of hive, on other majors, and outside of majors, to other hive...) New PoE perks I would change, instead of the particular unit burns, I would have all with a fallen burn (to follow the species theme) and, for the unit burns, they would be broadened... -shank burn would be a specialist burn, (personally i might put onto fusions) and deal bonus damage to shanks, wizards, harpies and psions (epic heavy shielders with low base hp) -dreg burn, would be for dregs, thralls legionares, and goblins -Vandal burn would be for vandals, acolytes, hobgoblins and phalax And so fourth with the fallen perks. I'd suggest these perks become static to specific weapon classes too (I do not like that randomness that makes these weapon less collectible) and for the primaries, or anything with variable elements, please set them to elements that fill whatever is missing for that weapon class from the raid weapons ( auto = arc , HC = solar , scout = void , pulse... = arc, i mean ffs... solar, or void (or have both options like murmur to make up for the 2 already arc pulserifles)

            • Yeah, and the elemental primary weapons dropped from Skolas should be a guaranteed drop not a pitiful 10-20% chance. I've killed Skolas 13 times and only gotten 3, but I've heard of others with 10 or more kills who have never gotten one. This is a joke Bungie - it is even worse than the drops in Crota's End.

              • Can't stand PoE. Rewards are terrible. Raid gear has way better perks. Only reason to run is E Light, but I'm so fed up with Bungie's totalitarian way of managing this game I'm losing any and all interest to play. I'll finish leveling my Red Death this week and then it is back to Dragon Age (which rocks, if you haven't tried it).

                • I'm burnt out of PoE already, there is no real purpose to do it. Weapons are awful, basically rare quality. Gear is okay, but purely based for PoE. The modifiers only change on skolas, they made it sound as if they would change on every mode each week. The only thing that is good about it is, it only takes about 30min for each level.

                  • I like playing PoE because it is a challenge for me and for the E-light. However, I am disassembling the weapons from the chests about as fast as I get them. I use the Vison of Confluence, Hawkmoon, Found Verdict, the Hunger of Crota and sometimes the Gjallarhorn. To me, they seem far superior to the weapons in PoE. To be fair, I do not have any of the PoE exotics, so I cannot talk about them. I hear a lot of people complaining about others using the Last Word. I don't understand why. The Last Word has no range, only 8 rounds, and when faced with multiple enemies you will find yourself watching the gun twirl while being shot to pieces because you have no loaded ammo. I do think the Last Word is a beautifully designed weapon, and the twirling is something you can show off to your girlfriend, but I'm not sure how that makes it a "killer" weapon. The Red Death is a weapon of mystery to me. "Guardians should destroy".... which is a bunch of bull. It is a really fun weapon to use, and does ok on the planets, but just takes forever to kill anything in situations where the enemies have higher rank. (Yes I know to aim for the head or chest and let the weapon walk-up.) If you use it while others are usings the Fatebringer, Thorn or other weapons like those, your kill ratio to theirs will look like you dozed off during the mission. Another beautifully designed weapon, with an outstanding perk, that is fun to use, and basically worthless. .

                    • I dont even see HoV as a full DLC, just something slapped together to keep us occupied untill TTK, it took me 10 days to get lv up all 3 characters, which is good but feels a little cheap, the guns are disappointing but overall $50 for 2 DLC's isn't to bad. Looking forward to TTK, i hope its good.
