The Terri Situation
In my math class, my math teacher asked the class if we were in Terri's situation. Would we kill ourself (remove the food tube), or stay alive in a vegatable like state. Most of the class, including me said we would just want to die.
If you guys were Terri, would you want to kill yourself or stay alive.
Post your suggestions, and please, don't say anything that's stupid or offensive as this is a very serious situation right now. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Say in a constructive matter please as I don't want anyone to be offended for my post.

I totally agree with Cacaking your teacher is there to teach you math not about a political issue... if she wanted to teach politics she should have went to school for that... and i would wanna live cause you are still alive...

Would I want to live for 15+ years, unable to communicate, unable to feel, unable to move? Would I want to end my live? Yes. Starvation, no, but there is few other options. I'd ask for the morphine drip. 'Course Terri CAN'T ask. We can only go by those that knew her. Say her husband. Butthis is a POLITICAL issue. It has been made a political issue by her parents, by the Bush brothers, by Congress. I will probably get blacklisted but myself restraint disappears on this issue. I have watched family members die. One was in a vegestative state for 6 months. The intrusion of others into what should be an individual's decsion drives me crazy. Your math teacher clearly has an agenda, on way or the other. It is soo not her place. But whatever. *steps off soapbox*
