Play on PS4 and PS3
I bought Destiny a few months ago on my PS4, then I read that the game has cross-save. I have my PS3 hooked up in another room and I'd like to be able to play in both locations. I tried installing the demo on my PS3 thinking I'd be able to access the full game (I upgraded from the demo on my PS4) but I got an error saying that my account wasn't compatible with the PS3 version.
From what I've read, if I'd initially bought the game on my PS3 I'd have no issues playing on both systems. Is there a way to make this work?

1 ReplyYou will need to get a copy of the full game for the PS3. The base game was part of the digital upgrade promo back at launch, but that only worked if you bought the digital ps3/360 version (then you got a free license for ps4/xb1). That offer also expired on January 15th for the base game and did not apply to physical/disk purchases, but is still in effect for The Dark Below and House of Wolves DLC.
