So, i recently bought Destiny, knew about how it is, gameplay blah blah Well, since i'm a forced PvE Player ( I cannot get Xbox Live Gold ) i started doing my favourite ( No DLC ) mission: The Sword of Crota. I mean c'mon swinging the sword is really cool, at least to me. Moving on, while slaying countless hive and suiciding to slay them again, i though about Destiny's "Story" We've had the Dark Below, House Of Wolves and the Upcoming The Taken King What's missing? A plot twist, good gameplay and not everything being based around Co-op ( Story Missions ) How many of you out there don't have the means to play in a fireteam for any reason? You know the struggle of having to grind to level up just so you wont die in one shot. Anyway, while slaying hive, i blacked out for a second, staring at the dark pools the Thralls come out of, and i though, The Dark Below could have been a Hive Themed "The Taken King" Yeah yeah i know, The Taken King is Hive themed Oryx blah blah Cabal running from stuff etc What i mean, and hopefully you all understand, is this small fragment of what i imagined the Dark Below could have been * Trailer Description Incoming, try to imagine it i can't do anything else to try and share this * [ Eris Morn ] You have done well Guardian, But your fight against the darkness has just begun... You have slain many enemies along the way... You have killed Fallen, Hive, Vex and Cabal to save your world... But you failed. [ Landscape of The Black Garden ] You have slain the heart of the Black Garden, but your biggest enemy is yet to come. [ Oryx's green eyes on black background ] This enemy, is the most powerful humanity has ever seen [ Green Flames transition to Hellmouth Landscape ] Oryx will send his son, Crota, to take the Moon back [ Camera entering the ground transition to Crota on Black Smoke Background ] ( You know that transition that the camera keeps panning down the landscape until it eventually gets in the ground? Yeah that ) He will succeed. And if not, Oryx shall unleash its wrath upon Earth [ Action Theme playing in Background ] [ Landscape of The Last City ] You cannot defeat this enemy His power is too Dark for Any light to conquer it. [ Numerous Hive fight scenes ] The only way you'll be able to defeat him Is by becoming... Like them... [ Hunter with red glowing eyes holding his knife, while smoke comes out of him ] Wield The power of Darkness! [ Close up Warlock charging a black Orb ] Make your enemy kneel before you! [ Close up of Titan Hand Holding Black and Red Sword ] Make them fear, Their own power.... [ Hunter ( middle ) Titan ( Left ) Warlock ( right ) as black shadows with red eyes on Traveler Landscape ] ( You know the art on the game's box, just turn em around imagine them like 2D shadows and add red glowing eyes ) [ Hunter dropping and stabbing Hive Acolyte ] Hunt the Hive with your sharp blade, [ Hunter turning into smoke, dissapearing ] Dissipate like Smoke from sight... [ Warlock Holding Dark Orb ] Unleash The Hive's Dark Magic against themselves [ Titan Running, Dragging a sword after him ] Smash your enemies with their own weapons It is your time Guardian. Will you fight in the Light, Or unleash chaos from the shadows... [ Insert Micheal Bay Bwaaaaang here ] Kill your enemies, With their own power... Destiny: The Shadow Warriors ( Yeah i didn't have too much time to think about a name ) Also, something i've been thinking about: Instead of going in alone, it would've been really nice to have some NPC allies with you, at least on a Conquer mission ( I'll explain in a sec ) to aid you, attack or at least draw fire. Now about the Conquer mission, i though about it as a Full Assault on a location for factions or races Maybe a mission called The Retake ( Conquer Mission ) With multiple objectives, and an assault with you, your fireteam, and an army of NPCs ( For next gen at least ) Hope this makes you get what i'm pretty much thinking about what The Dark Below could've been, I though of new subclasses, Well, just one centered about Smoke ( For the Hunter ) But at least the new Hunter sublass in The Taken King will have Smoke grenades. So that's about it, if you liked it, i'm glad, if it's a bad idea just say it is, Its pretty much the first thing i could come up with so i dont expect everyone to agree with this
