Thank you Luke Smith for being honest, and making me and other loyal players think about ditching Destiny...

As of today I have played Destiny for 51 days, 12 hours, 31 minutes & 19 seconds. Player since the Alpha, I bought the Digital Guardian Edition for $89.99 because it would have the "full Destiny experience" and some goodies, before Destiny I used to mostly play Call of Duty, since Destiny came out all I did was play Destiny, trying to get the best weapons/armors/items, doing all the bounties, weekly activities, raids, etc. Since it came out we knew it wasn't perfect, but eventually they kept fixing most of the issues via updates. The Dark Below was coming and everyone was excited, then all the excitement came to a halt when we were introduced to many new currencies and the way of upgrading Exotics and no way to upgrade legendaries, and a "raid" almost everyone can solo (once you know the mechanics), and the "story" which I beat on the same day with all my 3 characters. But even as bored as I got I was expecting better things in the future. Then they started to reveal House of Wolves, and the hype was on again, they did a great job introducing us to another underwhelming DLC with no raid while revealing different parts of it each week, everything sounded so promising, and some of the things they did they got it right, letting you trade currencies, ascending old weapons(if I knew that back in the day I would've kept many weapons) and armors, but now we can see that House of Wolves was another "filler" until the next real DLC, once again I beat the main story in the first day with my 3 characters and almost beat Skolas on day 1 as level 33, but we were lacking a good strategy, it was day 1 and we didn't have a Titan, next day, he was dead, and every week after that. So I beat the game, it's all boring for me, I haven't played in about a week and I don't think I'll keep on playing for some time, there's nothing else that I need to get from the game. Then The Taken King is announced! A new raid is coming, new missions, new strikes almost the size of a whole new game but only one (new) area to explore (Oryx's ship). But even when we don't know exactly what we're getting, they already set the prices. As we've seen we will be going to the same locales as before with different objectives now, and the Taken which is a remix of existing enemies, as most of the missions/strikes from DLC's which are a remix of the old ones. They still haven't made their mind on how the level progression will work, what will be the highest level? Will it matter? More weapons! More vault space? IMO, they should've showed what they really have in store for us, then tell us the price and then we'll understand if the price is right or not. But still giving the extra goodies only on the Collector's Edition is not a good move at all for the current player base. Loyal players like me, since less than day 1(from the Alpha), if we want the extra items, we have to REBUY all the content we already have and beaten? I mean I paid $89.99 for the Digital Guardian Edition, and if I want the new Collector's Edition I have to spend another $79.99 for 60-70% content that I already bought? No, hell no. The only offer we have is to buy the $39.99 expansion without any extras, great way to treat your loyal "Year 1" players. And after reading the EuroGamer interview, the way Luke Smith answered was all about the money, they couldn't elaborate more on what we're getting just how much will it cost and how screwed "Year 1" players will get. Sure it's not mandatory to get the extras, but I think that all of us who have basically beta tested the game for you to make it the way it is today, we should get those goodies too, maybe even more. If they don't change their mind on that I'll gladly say goodbye to Destiny, it was fun but these marketing practices are unacceptable for the people who have supported your game all along. TL;DR: Bungie instead of rewarding "Year 1" players, they are alientating them by giving out the goodies to new players or basically making "Year 1" players to re-buy all the content they already have again in order to get those new goodies. So what do other Guardians think about this move?
