•
Posted by: Grumpy1
Posted by: SteroidKloud Hey guys! I need help! This is my setup All I use for Internet is that white box. I do not have a modem and a router and a dcard or whatever, all that stuff it was saying in the tutorial. That white box sitting on my TV just connects to everything wirelessly and is plugged into a power source, and I have unlimited data with 10 mbps download speed. How would I use XBConnect with that. It's called a Vividwireless Home gateway
Your phone is your computer so you would have to see if you can dl the xbconnect software. If you can then at that point it should be the same as a laptop where you do not use a modem. I don't know what the white box is, whether it acts as a hub or router or if it has it's own firewall (which could stop you from connecting). I'm not an expert in this but it seems logical to see if xbconnect is a downloadable app first and work from there. That first link seems to only be an advertisement, is that what this is all about?
I didn't get the phone with mine. I will explain. It is a white box. With 2 Ethernet and 2 phone connections. It has a power plug that goes to the power. It is completely wireless and connects to hubs around the city. You cannot use a router, or modem with it.
