The Taken King is Coming.... So why don't I want to play Destiny till then?
To prepare for House of Wolves I maxed all my Gear & Weapons ready for the first day. But I've quickly come to a brick wall a mere 4 weeks in... My problem is this, the "NEW" legendaries with the exception of BTRD and "Felwinter" clones aren't worth your time and once the better VOG weapons are 365, theirs nothing left to farm for. Plus Vanilla & DB Armour looks BETTER
(I placed Datto's Video here as its VERY relevant to my point)
If your like me you've watched all of the video's, reviewed the website and looked at the "leaked" images from the Private game session of the 2 new Crucible Types and the Story Mission some got to play...
From what I can gather Year 2 is going to be an ALL NEW experience, those weapons & armour we all have been collecting will become useless or like hitting the enemy with paper balls (The ?? level kind of enemy) so we'll be forced into using all new items to counter this and in that lies the problem. Why would you continue to play when their is no incentive to collect these weapons and gear.
I LOVE the armour my Titan & Warlock use and many of the Exotics we have now I want to be still relevant (I Use Hawkmoon by the way, not Thorn)
So I have a few requests for the TK please
# Continue to allow Ascension BUT just for Armour
# Keep the Exotics we all cherish relevant because after all we worked hard for them
# Give an Incentive to Play Raids (Old & NEW) because right now the 3 Person setup has all but killed off community I used to enjoy (I know not everyone will agree, but Crota ESPECIALLY is a joke now...)
