Controller Freeze-Hacked during Trials
This isn't a joke. This has happened to me twice now in the past two days, and I've never seen it before this Trials weekend. My screen drops to 0.5 FPS (a frame every two seconds) then my controller doesn't work. Light on the controller is still on, but no inputs work at all (can't even get to dashboard). PS4 doesn't turn off, either, as I tried the manual turn off button/touch thing and it just beeps rapidly. Could still party chat with my team, however, despite Destiny's audio ceasing.
Only solution I found was to remove the disc, and everything is back to normal.
Shame it chalks that up as a loss in Trials when I'm the victim of a hack...
If Bungie can't prevent it, I hope they can at least find a way to detect when it occurs so it will prevent the auto-loss and other team's inevitable victory...

4 Replies in this Sub-ThreadTry using game chat and appear offline. Dont be in a party. Cleanse friends list down to trusted friends. (Xbox) Idk about psn, but i notice really weird stuff happening but it only ever happens when im in a party. My kid had their controller hacked during an iron banner two months back or so, then they dosd us. She lost all control and someone else was controlling her in pvp. Unplug console when this happens, immediately. Otherwise, you will be missing gear or characters in short order. I tried telling bungie this was happening, but they didnt seem to care back then. Still awaiting our justice....it wont ever come, not to us.

It was scary to be sure, it forced her off destiny for a LONG time. She no longer wanted to play, she is slowly coming back around. I cant say I blame her, some ass even sent her threat messages. She plays a LOT of halo, and she quite the decent little pvp'er. Weve definitely seen more than our share of grief. Some jerkwad even came to our house...i got his license plate, found his instagtam crap, saw his car same license, and i immediately called the cops. Then i loaded up my real life felwinters lie with slugs and kept it close. I ever see his face near me or my family, im putting him down. Ill deal with repercussions later... after i know me and mine are safe! There is some dirty, trashy, disgusting excuses for people and ive taken enough of their shite. I aint taking it NO MORE.
