So while I was trying to get better stats on my pulse rifle I started to wonder "I wish I could do this on my gear" and it accrued to me that it could be done! Set it up at the vanguard or crucible quartermaster and have them do it. It would be exactly like redoing guns but with class material and you could get any assorted perks!
