New Halo the Fall of Reach has Canon problems
In the new version there it states that reach comes under attack at 2542 and not 2552.
the battles for Sigama Octanus and Reach are now 2542
Cole is now a Fleet Admiral in 2530
Admiral Stanforth is now a Vice Admiral
700+ ships attacked reach

This all makes sense now! It took them 10 years to go from Reach to the first Halo, because this is how long it's taken them to release H:R after the release of H:CE! So by this logic, it took them 40 years to find Chief and Cortana after H:CE, and the another 20 years for the events of H2 to start, thus MC is actually a robot, which is why we can't see his face. And it turns out that the entire time, the Halo's just shot a massive amount of confetti into space and played obnoxiously loud techno music! THIS MAKES SO MUCH MORE SENSE NOW!
