Hey guys, Right now Thorn does have an advantage over most guns, esp when you go into Trials, you see teams with at least 2 of these things, and one guy to help get an assist so the burn can kill. The answer really isn't nerf the Thorn. Honestly, stop complaining about thorn, we need other options, Buff the other guns. You see auto rifles non existing right now because you have bungie that figure out balance for the auto rifles *hint, Lower the stability massively, and raise the impact by a ton, We already have 3 other weapons that are great for precision kills, -blam!-ing I want a bullet hose / SMG. Not every primary weapon should be able to land head shots consistent. Also Most exotics are garbage right now. There are so many other exotics that don't see play because they are simply bad, they don't perform well, hell, they can't even beat their legendary counterparts. Why take 4th horse men / Invective when you have Felwinter's lie and Mat 64, Why take Monte, Hard light, when Sorus is there (And even suros is the only auto rifle that is almost worth it.) Fusion Rifles? Pfft, Nobody is gonna waste a exotic space for Plan C or the super nerfed Pocket Infinity now, let alone, Fusion rifles are rarely used. Don't even get me started with Exotic heavies, If you are rocket exotic on heavy, it better be ghalli or else your doing it completely wrong. But yeah, The large majority of players uses Thorn, followed by the Last word, then sometimes you see a red death or mythoclass. It's getting kinda boring, Flavor of the month is indeed Thorn. You'd think Bungie would have some idea how to balance some weapons by now, huh? But then again, This game isn't going to be balanced, Bungie has made that very clear. This game isn't, and will never be a competitive shooter. No dedicated servers, Half thought out changes, like, This game is a joke when it comes to competitive play sadly.
