Skolas rewards did not drop correctly/at all...
After beating Skolas on my hunter, I received the elder cipher. My bounty list was full however, so It is frozen in Varikis's hands and wont let me claim it.
The big chest did not drop me the ship on both characters. In fact, on my Titan, NO special Skolas rewards dropped from the chest. I had open space on all slots. However I received a non-glitched Cipher from him thankfully. My hunter had space for the ship, but not the shader or emblem. (vault space is full....) However, I received everything BUT the ship. (went to postmaster.)
Just a report, as I see hundreds of others having the same problem.
Not mentioning my lost eye of Osiris emblem since it is well known... but I hope we get compensation....
Edit: It looks like a failed ship drop is a much bigger problem then I thought. One of my sub-fireteams went through a run and NO ONE obtained the ship or even KNEW about it till I told them. Many people reporting this. PLEASE report all occurences, if it happned twice, if you had space etc.
Edit 2: 6/10 and the complaints continue. Did Skolas on my hunter again and obtained ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, while my one friend claims he received two ciphers. I don't think that is possible but my other friend backed him up so seriously I feel like I have to give him the BotD. My cipher is still glitched on my hunter... I find lv 35 a waste of time...
Edit 3: GOOD NEWS!! If your cipher was glitched before, Bungie fixed it today. Just go to Varikis and 'continue your quest', claiming your bounty.
Edit 4: Complaints continue to this day, 6/25 after Skolas fight patch. Bungie has not updated anything about this but yet to date. I think we need more bumps to get noticed, plz contribute.
Edit 5: Just realized you are supposed to get elemental primarys. Me and teammates never received one.
Edit 6: Hurrah! Bungie said they fixed the ship drop in 2.0!! Anyone still have problems, post them here.
Edit 7: to clarify further, the ship, shader and emblem drop from the CHEST. Make sure you have space and a key.

I ain't gonna be bad mouthing bungie too much cause destiny's awesome, but like why doesn't the ship drop as a reward on beating that ugly bastard? Got us killing him, his minions, shielding each other, and defusing bombs and all we get is lil to nothing? Come on man least give us strange coins to wet our whistles, either way I hope this issue gets repaired ASAP cause that ship is the only reason I keep going back to hard mode skolas

Yeah same for me I beat skolas on my warlock awhile ago and didn't receive a ship shader or cipher I had open spots foreverthing

1 ReplyBeat Skolas 2 times now. No Emblem, Shader, or Ship. Do I need a key to open the chest in order to get them or is it an automatic drop like Crota or Atheon? Also, I pay 100 for the game (Destiny, Expansion 1 and 2) and now Bungie says it is only worth $20 dollars?! The Taken King is an additional $40?! So $40 for the stand alone with no special emote, shader or emblem or pay for the Legendary Edition and buy the game all over again to get the extra eye candy... Are they going to charge us for the Skolas loot as well?! Dont get me wrong, Bungie. I have been playing since the early 90's when Marathon was first released and have love the company even since, but now you are teaming up with Activision to fundamentally screw the society and culture that has paid your bills. What gives BNGHelp5?!

3 RepliesI just completed skolas for my first time with friends! EVERYONE BUT ME HAS THE SHADER AND SHIP AND EMPLEM! I only got the armor and weapon cores and etheric light. Someone pls help explain or help me understand WHY BUNGIE HATES ME. This was my 6th try at skolas and finally wrecked him. But got nothing cool like everyone else. I'm giving up if i dont get what i deserve and not buying taken king.

5 RepliesAugust 30th and it's still bugged. The first time I beat him on my Titan I got everything no problem. The second time I beat him on my warlock I only got the ship and an elder cipher...no shader, no emblem. I beat him on my warlock again today to see what would happen and it gave me another ship but still no shader and no emblem. I'm really bummed about the shader I love the look of it and would like to have one on each character. Hope they fix that.

2 RepliesI think we need some clarification from bungie on this matter on how exactly the drops are supposed to be working. I have beat Skolas 4 different times at least once with each character and have only received the the emblem, shader and ship altogether only once. I have recieved a ship each time I've beat Skolas so I actually have for ships but have only gotten the emblem and shader once which was the first time I beat him. After playing with numerous people from my clan it seems they only get the ship but no shader or emblem. Bungie needs to clarify if these are RNG drops or these items are supposed to drop definitely. If they are this needs to be fixed as the emblem and shader are the only reason Im actually only even doing these runs.

They arent going to quit their jobs for a skolas kill! Oh well. Maybe some other time, maybe never. Im considering not doing it at all since drops are still effed up. Fix your money maker Bungie.

I received 2 ciphers. It is a glitch and you only receive one gun. I was so excited until I learned That I would only be receiving one gun.

Because i beat him when solar burn was still out but didnt get any of those rewards not even an elemental gun does this problem still exist as of julyjuly 27th 2015??
