So, basically that. This qodron, kaliks, skolas mechanics are pretty stupid. Before accusing me of being too bad player to beat them, think about it. For example this week's 34. WTF man? a lot of 34 yellow ads to kill in the middle of a the bunch of other addS? are you nuts bungie? in the end, everyone ends charging gallys and waiting 5 minutes to get another charge. Just lke qodron. And where is the fun in there? i can't find it....

Dude the POE bosses are easy. The only ones that gave me a real run for my money were skolas and that qodron thing or however you spell it. Got invited for the servitor one this week randomly and black hammer was all I needed
-
2 manned 32 and 34. boss mechanics are the same as most other MMOs I've played. you do indeed to get better or find better teams...
-
34 was easy no offence 32 was harder I think.

Edited by TheGodAmongMen: 6/8/2015 2:22:08 PMAre you kidding? Kaliks is the easiest boss yet. You do know that there are a limited amount of waves kaliks can spawn. Each spawn on a percent of his health and can only spawn at that percent ONCE. So say one wave spawns at 80% of his health. When you first start the fight just kill all the adds. Then shoot him down until the next wave spawns. He will heal to full life before you can kill all the dregs, this is fine. The next time you shoot him down to 80% life NO ENEMIES WILL SPAWN. They will spawn at a lower percent though. Once you get him slightly past half health you have to kill a single important target... Arc shotguns work wonders. Then you just repeat the above. While this all seems tedious, it really isn't because Kaliks has almost no health and can easily be dropped my primary or secondary fire. easiest boss yet. I have killed Kaliks around 13-14 times this week.(9 of which were to finish the last part of my 3 exotic bounties off)

Kaliks is seriously so easy it's a -blam!-ing joke. If you struggle with him then I legitimately feel sorry for you. And no I don't have a gally.
-
I did it legit first try git gud casul
-
I beat this week's 34 as a level 33 it's that hard
-
it takes like 45 seconds to clear out all the adds. Then shoot Kaliks with whatever rockets/snipers you have and even without 3 Ghorns he may be already down after one round.
-
Qodron was a walk in the park. Seriously. Kill the eye shoot the shields do damage. Have a guy in add control and you are golden
-
If you communicate and do the fights as they were designed, it's actually quite simple. The only issues I've had were on the very first attempt without knowing the mechanics and learning them without YouTube help.

Edited by Apweber42: 6/8/2015 2:09:57 PMThis 34 was so easy. Two rounds were just kill shit. For the boss just kill the ads then take out rockets and snipers and kill him. He dies so quickly. Qodron is super easy now too. With a decent shotgun you can remove the jail without the buff before you die.
-
Ridiculously fun!
-
This level 34 was easy. Kill the adds. Shoot Kiliks 2.0. Kill more adds... Shoot Kaliks 2.0... Kill primary target. Shoot Kaliks 2.0 with hand cannons until his life is so so. Roast him with heavies. One of the easiest boss battles ever. If you have 3 Gallies and Weapons of Light... He's dead in 30 seconds. :D
-
Qodron was bad, because it wasn't easy to execute the mechanics. Kaliks mechanics are easy to execute. Kill ads on the left, move to the right, take down Kaliks, kill target.
-
Best 34 this week I was the only one with gally and we were all hunters... It wasn't hard at all
-
Kaliks is piss easy... Go in, kill ads (because they don't instantly respawn), put damage in to kaliks until vip spawns, melt vip and kill ads again, shoot kaliks again - success guardian, you have done it.
-
34 was easy just a bit annoying. 32 is easy unless you have suck team mates that don't know what right trigger is.
-
If you need Gallies for Kaliks you're doing it wrong. Have one person focus on the adds while two just blast away continuously with whatever rockers or snipers they have. He melts like a Popsicle in the devil's asscrack.
-
Tl;Dr: dear bungie: your game is too hard for bad players and now i feel bad for gjallarhorning every boss instead of fighting them. Please make the mechanics ignorably easy, so i won't feel bad - everybody (Because you guys think everybody thinks this but you guys just post the second something manages to actually form in your walnut brain, while the rest of us ignore you or post much more thoroughly about the same topic)
-
34 was a walk in the park compared to arc Skolas.
-
Beat it legit first run and I was the only gjally.
-
>Kaliks >Two defender titans >Enter the room >Titans place bubbles in left and right hallways >Gjallarhorn/Black Hammer the boss
-
The adds aren't meant to all be killed. Theyre to make dealing damage to skolas more diffucult. It is more than possible to kill him before the adds even start to group up though.
-
2 black hammers and a spear can make quick work of the 34 this week
-
Skolas is well designed, as is everything else EXEPT for the dumb servitor, thing is so damn annoying
-
Edited by Mister Nice Guy: 6/8/2015 12:58:47 PMWhatever, I loved Qodron and thought it was super fun on 34. I'm tired of seeing Skolas' face, though. I think they went about doing PoE a bit wrong, anyway. They should have made it where new encounters were introduced weekly on the level 35 one, with Skolas being the first, and then have it trickle down to 34 and 32 the following weeks, with adjusted "nerfs" for each level (example, how they nerfed Qodron for the lvl 32, spawn less yellows, etc.). They also need to design fights a bit better where simply having an OP rocket launcher won't oversimplify the entire thing...but that's another topic.
