A poll for those who consider themselves "PvPers"
The loot for HoW seems more geared towards those who do well in PvP. Not to mention to get loot from PoE you need a key which may take hours of farming for one.
The defense to this that I keep seeing is "PvPers were forced to do the raids to get decent loot so now those who mainly just play PvE should have to play PvP."
Now I may be biased. I'm terrible at PvP. But A decent raid team can carry the worst player through a raid with patience and good instructions.
The same cannot be said with ToO. If I'm wrong and you have under 1k/d and went 9-0 in ToO please let me know.
Please let me know what your opinion is. Whether its constructive or to just "get gud."

I guarantee any "PvPer" is doing all the raids and nightfalls and is better at them than any exclusive "PvEer". None of those bad players getting carried through raids are PvP players because none of the AI is harder than a person with a Thorn. Hell, no one even identifies as "PvPer". We're just Destiny players. The game is designed in such a way that you need to do everything if you want to efficiently get everything. Prior to HoW, the reward for PvP was just less rewarding compared to the effort. Not to mention you can AFK your way through crucible. All they did was balance rewards based on the difficulty of the content. I know what I'm saying might hurt your feelings if you are the person who considers yourself a "PvEer". That's to be expected and is a product of the everyone-gets-a-trophy society we now live in. Personally I'm not that good at PvP myself, but I don't take "git gud" as an insult either. To me its a goal that I will always work towards and means far more than any in game loot that drops. If you "PvEers" could just set your ego aside and admit that maybe your moms lied to you about being special, you might be able to enjoy the best part of this game with the rest of us.

Flawless raider over here and went to the lighthouse 3x both weeks :)

I've probably done the Crota raid about 50 times (solo'd 20 of them). I also help friends that made a new character and need some good gear.

Well technically my is .97 but I've seen people with kd in the single digits and still get to the lighthouse.

1 ReplyI follow RNGesus to wherever he takes me. Before that meant doing over 80 raids, mostly on the harder difficulties. But now, I'm a PvP player thanks to Trials of Osiris. Besides, the Skolas boss fight is just stupid right now.
