How can you stand it? I tried to run just 3 of 1 character but found that it was extremely boring. Now I run all 3. Can someone shine some light as to how this is fun/a good idea?

I had 3 Titans in the beginning of the game cause grinding to level 30 was so much more of a grind

I really like the warlock but I'm starting to warm up to the other classes as well. I'm soon going to max the titan I had made up this week and then I'm on to maxing a hunter so I have all three. I also have all three to use all the different possible factions. My warlock will be with New Monarchy, My titan FWC, and Hunter Dead Orbit

Edited by RAcast: 5/30/2015 12:03:07 PMI love Titans because of their subclasses: one purely offensive and one purely defensive. I feel I can be of most use to my team in any situation with this setup and it makes the game extremely fun for me for that reason. The bubble for defender is SO useful for team-mates in both PvE and PvP (providing cover/blinding/buffs). Hunters have two purely offensive subclasses which is great for PvP but I don’t play PvP that much. Warlocks have two mostly offensive subclasses one of which, of course, benefits from the defensive-ish (and useful) self revive. At the same time, radiance can be activated for a ton of offensive damage. I’d say warlocks still have a ¾ offensive role. I prefer the awesome polar opposite subclass roles that the Titan provides and because it suits my play style I don’t see myself leveling up the two other classes just for the sake of having them.

I have all 3, 32 33 and a 34, I like having variety. I also believe that each has a strong advantage over others in specific situations. They all contribute to my collective (vault),to where I can level up wepons fast as well as farm specifics ( coins, exotics motes etc....).

I completely agree with OP here. I hardly like playing on my warlock now(already deleted a level 30 lock, gear included) but it brings variety to the table. I'd rather be able to do everything that be a one trick horse.

Tried the other but only enjoy titan really. I have two but i cant remember the last time i used the second. Dont have time to max more than one haha

I run two Hunters, wouldn't have time for a third if I wanted too. I would probably like to have another class, like a Titan maybe, but the thought of starting over fresh and having no materials like Plasteel Plating or any armor to start out with is too daunting. The free time just isn't there.

Some people find what they are good at and then triplicate it to increase reward chance. Sometimes, a player(s) may not like other characters, or may prefer one type. Look out your window and if you see 2 people who are alike, well, you get the point...
-
Some people don't like the other classes, or just do it to get gear faster
-
Some ppl only got time to play one type

Edited by Tiki Kitsune: 5/30/2015 11:37:08 PMOnly reason why I don't run 3 warlocks is because I got tired of dismantling 2/3 of the gear I got (hence, the hunter). When you find a class you really like that you excel at, why not? (I did have a Titan at one point, didn't like it)
-
Never had more than 1 of the same but I have to agree. I love going at it with all 3, I do it with a friend and he too has all 3 types and we have a lot of fun mixing up the duo layout.
-
Cause I tried other classes and the titan best fits my playing style.
-
People just want to play how they want to play. I had one of each right before the Dark Below came out and then I deleted the Titan and Hunter because they were boring to me. I now only have 1 Warlock, but will soon be making 2 more.
-
My view is I have 1 character with 3 lockouts. I love my titan.
-
Pre dark below it was the only way to get one character to 30 in under 10 years
-
I like hunter it's the best class
-
I maxed all 3 characters and subclasses hate playing as the hunter and the warlock self res is cool but that was about it so I deleted and made 2 more titans. Love playing as titan but yes it can get a little redundant but destiny in itself is redundant so it doesn't really matter the character in my opinion lol

You have to be dedicated. I ONLY enjoy the hunter play style. I tried titan and warlock. It was very bland imo. Also their jumps are far too slow for my taste. Just preference to be honest.
