Titan Information Codex

Titan Information Codex -Thank you for the awesome response and support that I have received. Keep the Titan info coming.- This information has been gathered from the Grimoire cards, armor descriptions, and marks. I have made every attempt to interpret the information as accurately as possible. Titans were the first Guardians to rise and defend the City in its moments of peril. They built the mighty walls and fortifications that surround the city to defend the inhabitants from the always looming alien aggression. Titans guarded the survivors of the collapse as they made their pilgrimage from the wild to the sanctuary under the Traveler. During the city’s darkest times, the honor driven warriors stepped forward and delivered peace form the chaos created from the feuding factions as they volleyed for power. They live, train, fight, and die for the city and the survival of its people much like the ancient warriors of mythology that came before them. Utilizing one of their three subclasses, (Striker, Sunbreaker, & Defender) Titans rain devastation down upon their opposition in the form of Arc, Solar, and Void damage. Walking tanks, armored juggernauts, gods of war, with their deliberate and focused destructive force, Titans will not cease until the enemy is defeated. The following is a list of Titans and the information I have found so far. Being a work in progress, any additional information or corrections are greatly appreciated. Holborn’s Host Holborn – The City’s Hand on Mars. Lead many successful campaigns on Mars against the Cabal. Quotes: "The best defense is a good offense. We are both shield and sword."—Holborn (Commando Type 0) Tubach – Holborn’s second on Mars. Tibon – Member of Holborn’s Host. Bayle - Member of Holborn’s Host. Lyssa- Member of Holborn’s Host. Jagi - Leader of Jagi's Host. Caspian Sea Old Russia? Other members unknown but it is suggested that all may be lost in battle. Twilight Gap/ Vanguard Commander Zavala - Twilight Gap hero/ Vanguard leader/ Commander of city defenses. Lord Shaxx - Twilight Gap hero/ Crucible mentor. Started the Crucible in an effort to better prepare Guardians for combat against the Darkness. (Information contributed by AnonPig) Lord Saladin- Commander at Twilight Gap/ Iron Lord. Manages The Iron Banner/ Mentor to Zavala and Shaxx. His relationship with Shaxx became stressed after the battle due to Shaxx advancing against the Fallen with his combat frames instead of holding as he was ordered. Arcite 99-40 is the last of Shaxx's combat frames that were involved in this battle. Possible Iron Lord Titans??? Jolder Radegast Silimar Kabr - Vault of Glass. Last (only) member of his fireteam. Created the Aegis. Presumed dead?? Quotes: Kabr fought the Vex alone. But somehow they didn't kill him. (Battlecage of Kabr) He consumed their technology like fire. Fashioning armor from their remnants. (Kabr's Brazen Grips) In the aftermath, he became obsessed with the machines. (Kabr's Might) He was claimed by the Vault. His armor and myth are all that remain. (Kabr's Forceful Greaves) Saint-14 – A legendary Exo whom led crusades against the Fallen after The Battle of Six Fronts. Current status unknown. Quotes: "A story of Saint-14 holds that, when grappling with a great Kell, he caved in the Fallen’s head with one blow from his own." (Arihant Type 4) "He walked out into the demon light. But at the end he was brighter" Paean to Saint-14 (Helm of Saint-14) "I have found that rarest treasure: a pragmatic Warlock." (Blood Maturity) "Saint-14's Position argues that the Darkness was an invading armada, an alien force of incredible - but tangible - power. Some adherents believe that this armada sprang from species rejected or discarded by the Traveler for their sins."(The Darkness Grimoire Card) "His Light cast no shadows."- Paean to Saint-14 (Titan Mark - Order of the Lost Saint) "A singer came to me, saying, 'You protect me, and I do nothing in return.' I told him to sing, and he understood." - Saint-14 (Titan Mark - Mark of the Beacon) Some suggest Saint-14's legendary vigil was enabled by a few roaming Hunters and their bloody culls. (Cloak of the Skypillar) Thalor the Invincible – Crucible hero. Murdered by the Hunter Dredgen Yor with Thorn after Yor was corrupted by the Darkness. Quotes: The mighty Thalor was invincible in the Crucible - until Dredgen Yor, and his Thorn. (Mark of Contention) "One day in the Crucible tells you everything you need to know about a Guardian. Even yourself." – Thalor Vell Tarlowe – Member of Eris Morn's fireteam. Killed by the Wizard Verok and her Thralls. Quotes: "We called her Verok; it was her and her Thrall that finally overwhelmed him." – Eris (Mark of the Duskborn) "And with the lone strength of the Titan Vell Tarlowe, we felt invincible." – Eris (Mark of the Hidden) "There's nothing more satisfying than feeding a Knight a shard of their own." - Vell Tarlowe (Knightbone Guard) Wei Ning - A well known and respected female human Titan. Eriana-3 sees her die on Crota’s blade in a dark vision during her interrogation of a Hive Wizard. She was once asked by Pahanin Errata, “What about the Darkness itself? What then?” Wei Ning replied, “I will punch it to.” - (Molniya Type 0) (Information Contributed by John6Max4) Current status and location unknown. Quotes: "Yes, we've achieved the objective. And the next. And the…were we supposed to stop attacking?" —Wei Ning (Mark of the Dauntless) "When the long dark closes around us, we will be the last light." (Light of the Great Prism) "THE LAST AND SUREST ARGUMENT" - traditional inscription for the right gauntlet, attributed to Wei Ning - (Mark of the Conqueror) PUJARI-WEI RATIO: colloquial. Amount of time Warlocks spend planning battles versus time Titans spend winning them. (Spearhead Type 0) (Information contributed by TheOxymoron) "This burn's from a slug rifle. That one's a shock blade. This one...ah, yes. Wei Ning gave me a hug." (Spearhead Type 0) "To conserve ammo, we disrupted the enemy command structure with several sharp blows to the skull." —Wei Ning (Spearhead Type 0) "Evade the Cabal counterattack? My friend, they're finally sending us something worth killing." —Wei Ning (Spearhead Type 0) Ain Suhu-ässä? – A possible Titan that supported as well as was evolved in the Crucible. Quotes: "The naysayers in Consensus don't understand that we LIKE to kill each other." - Ain Suhu-ässä (Cast in Blood, a Titan mark) "They say the Crucible is preparation for the frontier. I see it the other way around." - Ain Suhu-ässä (Nightmask Cloak) Titan Orders Agema - Firebreak - The Firebreak orders strive to draw the battle away from the City and its interests. Mark of the New Front It is called the Firebreak Calculus: how much good could I do if I find the right place and fight until I die? Mark of the Martyred Some accuse the Firebreak orders of rabid, mindless aggression. But their rabid aggression is quite deliberate. Illyrian Type 0 Gatewatch - When the enemy presses the City, the final order will always be: stand your ground. Gatewatch Chain - Even at Six Fronts, the City's darkest hour, some Titans broke orders, but the Chain prevailed. (Mark of the Chain) The Sun Legion - Stoneborn - "They don't fail." - Commander Zavala (Mark of the Stoneborn) Bulwarks - "War upon stone and it grows weaker. War upon man and he grows stronger. Which shall your wall be built of?" (Mark of the Bulwarks) Special Units - The Vanguard selects elite Titans to form commando cadres. Commando fireteams rely on their Ghosts for field intelligence and demolition plans. (Commando Type 0) The Cormorant – It is unknown at this time whether the Cormorant is an order made up of all classes, a title for a higher ranked Guardian, or a military force whom fought in a forgotten battle or attempted to retake the moon from the Hive. Its’ symbol, the two headed eagle, is utilized for marks, bonds, and possibly cloaks. Commander Zavala has the emblem on his left pauldron and we know Eriana-3 (an Exo Warlock) was also a member. (Information contributed by AnonPig) Major Battles Fought Battle of Six Fronts - Four Titan orders (Agema, Firebreak, Gatewatch and Chain) repelled the advancement of an organized Fallen force that laid seige upon the City's walls. Although faced with overwhelming enemy numbers, all four Titan orders remained standing at the conclusion of the battle. The Fallen retreated and fell back to the Cosmodrome. Much blood was spilled, but the battle of Six Fronts remains a hall-mark in Titan history. Battle of the Twilight Gap - The Battle of the Twilight Gap (“the Gap”) saw the Fallen houses unite and siege the walls of the City, where they were fended off by all available Guardians.
