Shaders really need to effect exotics when I put a badass shader on then I use a helmet it doesn't go all the way but the stats on the helmet are just to much not to use imagine seeing someone in crucible with a gold helmet and a purple shader looking like he's wearing party rock clothes

I think the issue is that they want exotics to be easily recognizable, so if they can be recognizable no matter what color they are, then shaders affect them.

Some exotics are affected. Voidfang Vestments definitely are. The hunter helmets are too. Some however really need the option, Starfire Protocol robes are ugly as hell and don't go with anything.

Edited by Yartoum: 5/29/2015 11:29:49 PMNever umdersrood why some exotic armor will change with the shaders while others will not. Like you said the perks of some gear make it worth wearing no matter how ugly it looks but it would be nice if that piece didnt totally clash with everything else.

I will vote yes on this (I think it would be cool if exotic had a switch, 1 is stays normal, 2, exotic overrides armor, coloring it to exotic colors, 3, shader overrides exotic...) Your idea though does not create issues if they ever let us wear multi exotics >_>

Some exotics do change colors with a shader. My symbiot (excuse spelling) changes
