PoE rewards or rather, lack there of...
Check this article out. Sums up what I have been feeling about PoE from the start. Its just a waste of time at this point. Its an article from a video game researcher who works on Forbes online magazine. Its a good read.

Yeah I believe that the only reason this holds any weight is that the ToO rewards seem to be MUCH more favorable. Otherwise if the rewards were balanced between the two game modes, there wouldnt be much of an issue

26 RepliesI disagree. Maybe you should play the game instead of reading articles and try it out for yourself. There are a lot of rewards on Prison of Elders level 28, 32, 34, and 35. The harder you get the better the rewards. Also recommend you farm keys in Skywatch.

Prison is decently fun but not rewarding whatsoever. If you do get the exotic bounty it takes variks so damn long to summon you it loses its excitement really quickly. Also think about it, we're going to ascend all of our gear and have no reason to play the prison anymore except for exotic bounties. We will ascend all of or nightfall load outs and then realize all we can get is the same old crap and some new armor exotics from nightfalls.. Not new exotic weapons. There will be no reason to play the nightfalls soon after. No new raid to have fun with and the old ones are so easy at 34 there's no enjoyment from them anymore unless you toss on old gear. But why beat a dead horse? There's not a lot of enjoyment to be had in this DLC it's just a major grind to ascend everything and collect the few things added in gear wise

I have not found one single key but instead have ammo synths filling up my inventory. If I had a key it wouldn't matter because it will just get you weak pink weapons or an exotic that I already have. It just simply isn't worth the time for so little reward.

10 RepliesHe's basically upset that the RNG for getting half-decent rewards from PoE is placed outside of PoE. I don't see the problem. The guaranteed drops at 32+ PoE are what matter. 28 PoE has drops equivalent to a Roc strike.

I don't get why lvl 34 fully max ToO players play crucible , the other day I was trying to get my warlock to lvl 20 and I went up against 2 34s and a 33 in skirmish and of course I lost , why do they play PvP when there already awesome at it , just to ruin my leveling?

PvE players have gotten the shaft when it comes to end game rewards (after hours and hours in PoE) PvP players meanwhile get more etheric light and the best loot in the game. Also, have you noticed how crucible mark vendors have a lot more gear now and there is less Vanguard gear?

2 RepliesI agree and disagree at the same time PoE have great exotics and I like the new PoE Armor set I am in the process of getting my Lord Of Wolves and I already have an amazing AR from beating Scolas two days ago. I agree on the weapons though because his primaries should have burn and be special just like raid weapons. PVP wise they've been asking for it for a long time now but in my opinion the Mercury map should be open after 9 wins not flawless. BTW I'm PvE player and I'm not good in PvP and I think they should keep ToO as is because it's cater to the best of the Best PVP Players all what we PVE players need is better rewards that's it.

In order to keep people playing until the next lame DLC they have to make things a random grind. It's poor design indeed and the only reason they hold back content is to sell it later, thats it! This game is so broken it blows my mind how the hell they spent 500mill on this lump of shit. This game is a sink hole designed to keep you stuck until the next pay wall. Sorry but -blam!- this. Keep your failed game, I'm out!

I got one exotic once that I already had and it was 334 and I have the other maxed. I got the same shotgun from 32,34 twice

It's a good read and fair assessment of the flaws of PoE and HoW as a whole. He stopped short of saying it was tailored primarily for PvP, but other than that I agree totally.

Too much effort for crap rewards on the PoE arena challenge levels. I've completely given up clearing all the rounds. Jump in on the boss, ultra fast kill, grab cores and etheric light and leave. I don't bother farming for keys. What's the point the chests contain nothing I need or just plain old crap. Once again Bungie have -blam!-ed up the rewards for time invested. They are and remain absolutely clueless.

Did POE level 35 once. Never need to do it again. Better guns are found int he trials and are guaranteed. Why would I waste m,y time grinding through 35 for the CHANCE to obtain a gun when trials offers better guns? I mean, a huge impact fusion rifle that burns shanks? cool story bro, nice judgement chance waste.
