Variks has a secret agenda.

Between the Grimoire and the things he randomly he says to you, I had my suspicions he was up to something. But then the coins started popping up. Ya know? The mystery coins found in odd spots? Yeah, they're also sitting snug in his little tent. This leads me to believe Bungie is giving us a precursor to what COULD happen with the character. Think of Variks as the Littlefinger(GoT ref) of the Destiny universe. He's quietly playing behind the scenes. Maybe the coins are his calling card. Leaving them in locations close to where other Fallen leadership met their demise. By our hands, no less. Am I grasping at nothings or do you think it's a possible scenario? Leave your thoughts on the matter below! EDIT: wanted everyone to know we're trending! Keep up the great conversations! EDIT2: we are in Highest Rated right now, folks. Keep rocking on with the awesome theories! #Variksforkellofkells2016 - NewestMonarchy #He's way too interested in our ghosts(paraphrasing) - Nebu the Bald

  • I think Varriks agenda is simple: He wants House Judgment to endure, and he will do anything to preserve it. If you pay attention to his words you will notice that he mentions the Traveler was once with the Fallen, meaning they were the original beings of Light (before us at least). Varriks, just like the rest of the Fallen, want to be with the Traveler. What better way than to buddy up with the Guardians?
