Putting a spotlight on those who Lag switch
Bungie recently tweeted for guardians to play nice and said they are watching but that doesn't deter the people who choose to lag switch. There are times I see people in regular crucible games become bullet sponges just when they are about to die and can magically run away and heal or disappear entirely.
The lag switch videos of the trials with those guys going to overtime every match and the lag switchers reviving their teammates even when no one is around is ridiculous.
Bungie needs to address this with a zero tolerance policy and tell guardians to send them videos of people caught in the act. Since we can record any gameplay on next gen systems it's not difficult to catch lag switchers in the act and thus hopefully deter them from doing it with the threat of lifetime bans.
Bungie needs to act fast before other low life's start copying their reprehensible behavior.

They just need to make a program who detect this people and kick it away from crucible when they using lag switching.

Its very obvious when a switcher is active (either seeing them ingame or on the admin side monitoring their connection status). Bunige need to make an effort to ban these pople (exactly as xbox would if they are reported as such) ascurrently whatever 'cheat' system they have in place is absolutly useless. But what do I expect , the last time I saw this question , the 'moderator selected as answer' reply , was to ask them nicely if they are swithcing to understand if they were actually cheating before reporting them, incase they are 'just' lagging and you ight report them unfairly. Jebus bungie get a grip will ya, do you not even understanmd the massive levels of double think i tmust take to even suggest that AND not understand why it is stupid?

19 RepliesOR. Ooooor... You are an idiot. Connection issues happen all the time. Sometimes at no fault of the player. They have yellow and red bars and can't help it. I see no real evidence of 'lagswitching'. Just you and a yellow bar.

It's been a thing for quite a while now, I just googled it out of curiosity and there are hundreds of pics and how to videos. If you see someone doing it report them. Key indicator is teleporting all over the map repeatedly. Edit: if you have to use one of these things, you not only suck, but you are a low life dbag and you fly a douche-rocket.

1 ReplyI just dealt with a whole team of lag-switchers in a regular crucible match just now and I reported each and every one of them, Bungie needs to [b][u]actually[/u][/b] do something immediately! This has gone on for far too long and they have yet to remedy this with some kind of anti-cheat system, I know something like this exists.

I'm always skeptical about claims of lag switching. I doubt there are nearly as many lag switchers as people claim, and that most cases are just your garden variety of internet issues.

There is a sinificate difference between those who lag switch and the who are just laging. People who lag switch most like will appear in one place and be in another also they bullet sponge like crazy. Bungie and other developers really need to keep an eye out for these kind of cheaters. These are the type of people that need to get banned.
