This is getting out of hand in terms of what people think they are immediately entitled to because they bought the game. This "logic" people are spewing on the forums about what areas they have access to (The Lighthouse) and what armor or weapons they get just because they paid for the game is ridiculous. Guess what? I pay a monthly fee for WoW and I don't do battlegrounds or arenas or challenge modes or pet battles. So because I pay [b][i]every month[/i][/b] for the game, does that mean I should receive the rewards for being the best in those activities? Does that mean that when I complete a raid in that game it should give me every single possible piece of raid gear in that game in one run instead of raiding 20 more times until RNG shines upon me? [b]NO[/b], it doesn't. You people have to work for things. That includes putting in time to farm things or practice certain activities until you get better at them. These are not new concepts and have been in MMOs for quite some time. The only thing new to the picture are all of you playing Destiny that have never played MMOs in your life and can't grasp these concepts that Destiny is using. The only thing preventing any of you from getting to certain areas or getting any certain gear are yourselves. Put in effort and practice and get better. Put in time and grind and farm and you can have the things others have. But no, most of you just want to give up, complain you can't do it, then complain on here that you paid for it so give it to you now. Oh and BTW, this is a [b]MULTIPLAYER[/b] online cooperative game. So before any of you complain that you don't have the friends or fireteams to accomplish some of these things, you should have thought about that before getting yourself into this type of game and stuck with single-player offline games with a clear goal in sight that you can attain. Nobody is forcing any of you to play this style of game. Jeez. EDIT: Changed Jesus to Jeez. I am not the holy son. Hope this clears up any confusion. ;)
