Trials rewards elemental primaries while Prison of elders does not?
Hello fellow players of destiny. I would like to question why completing trials of osiris flawless (has a chance to) rewards the player with a elemental primary weapon while completing skolas's revenge does not. Are there elemental prison of elders weapons? I would also like to add the fact that the trial of Skolas (round 6 in Skolas's revenge) is extremely difficult without using a cheap method that consists of killing skolas with a weapons of light ward of dawn and 3 fully upgraded ghallahorns.

going flawless in trials doesnt give you a change its guaranteed while in poe its a chance if you do it on skolas. however most pow gun sucks the only good ones are the fusion, sniper, handcannon, and auto rifles. the trials version of the handcannon and auto rifles are better and falls into the same archtypes. the trials fusion is better for pvp while poe fusion is better for pve though you can buy a better fusion, and the sniper is best in pvp and pve though its beaten by her benevolence, ldr, and the longbow if you have good rolls

I have three primary burn weapons from skolas....how many times have you ran the fight?

6 RepliesEdited by OldManSlippery: 5/25/2015 5:11:37 PMAs your house of judgment rank increases, so do your chances of finding primary weapons with random elements. Most people have barely made rank 1 yet, give it time. In a few weeks when you're rank 2+ you'll probably find heaps.

Bungie had a PVP minimum percentage of players agreement with Activision somewhere. And they didn't meet the requirement.

4 RepliesMore PvP favoritism. I wish they didn't rely on PvP so much for legitimate replay value. That's one of the most disappointing things about this game. I don't feel particularly "legend" fighting other Guardians.

1 ReplyIt's funny that you have a higher chance of dropping 3 cyphers than a elemental weapon. It should drop like crota or atheon. At the moment I do t even bother with 35 wast of time for crap drops

11 RepliesPoE requires you to spam Gjallarhorn shots into a badly programmed AI boss. Trials requires you to outplay smart human opponents that can actually adapt to your strategies, 9 times in a row.

Um yah the arena does drop elemental primary from 35 as far as i know ive gotten a wolf slayers clear 2 which did arch damage it's an auto rifle

1 ReplyAtleast 1 Primary should drop for a member of the fireteam when completing Skolas. If not then they need to add a high percentage chance to get one on the big chest when you open it on 35.

I find it odd as well that trials awards elemental primaries considering elements mean nothing in PvP. If there's no way to get elemental primaries from the PvE content than Bungie is going to have a lot of angry players on their hands

Skolas drops elemental primaries. Played it last night and my 2 friends in the fire team got a burn on their Wolfslayer's Claw and Leash

2 RepliesFrankly, I still think VOG weapons trump all the new end game weapons. I was super excited about TDB weapons, ended up going back to VOG stuff. Was super excited about HoW weapons, still rock the VOG primaries over this stuff. They just have better all around perks, not just enemy specific stats. Kinda sucks, but I feel like all the new special perks are somewhat gimmicky. Seems cool, till you realize that you give up a slot for something potentially good, for a case specific perk. White nail on a hand cannon, and a scout rifle? Pretty lame IMO.

Agree. Appeantly it's a small RNG chance at elemental (adept) version of primary from skolas dropping it. I've done 3 skolas runs with two friends. ZERO adept weapons dropped. But 3 ToO flawless chest runs have given us ALL adept elemental primaries. Something's not right here Bungie. And frankly this games entire RNG is getting very very old. Curious to see what happens to this surge in players when all this news gets out. And the key farming,...and the lack of a key reward for 1st completion of 32, 34 PoE like all the youtubers videos showed and how Bungie twitch stream made it sound. Not very good signs. Time will tell.

Like in VoG or Crota elemental primaries drop on hard mode/lvl 35 PoE. A guy from my fire team got the hand cannon yesterday with arc damage.

ToO weapobs have lackluster perks for pve anyway. Third eye is only situational imo.

it does, my friend got a void wolfslayers claw. it's not a guaranteed drop.
