Well, after running three characters through the "new content" in two days, I've found it to be the same old stuff, on a harder difficulty level, with a few new versions of shanks, and captains with torch cannons. More super mario brothers jumping onto disappearing platforms, still with characters that can't step over a 3" curb/root/crack/rock. We were told that the upgrade materials that we would need to ascend our equipment, was "readily available", only to find out it only drops RANDOMLY in the hardest of the PoE, nightfalls, ToO? You are still trying to force those of us who don't want to play PvP, to do so. Just a clue Deej, games are for comfort zones, we play games to relax, and get into that comfort zone, to escape real life for a bit, but I see you are disconnected form that point. I'm not saying there should be no PvP, if others want to play PvP, more power to them! I like MANY others though, bought this game to play the PvE portion, had I known that PvP would be so catered to, I would not have wasted the money on it, but know I'll waste no more. With that said, on to PvE, the PoE has no strategy other than run around avoiding all the adds, firing Gjallarhorns at the objectives, (Lord help you if you have to sit on the objective), and the end boss, btw, hope you bought pleanty of heavy ammo synths from Xur. Uh-oh, all three died from the dozens of adds chasing you, wash, rinse, repeat! If you finish the whole mess, AND you have a key, you might get some PINK weapon from the center chest, if your buddies, not realizing you hadn't jumped down 4 stories yet, didn't open the chests and start the timer! Oh yeah, we haven't even tried lvl 34 yet, don't think I want to. A level 33 character still has to run through, or waste time killing everything on a level 2 map just to avoid dying! A level 33 character SHOULD be able to walk through that zone without even worrying about taking damage! And by gosh, don't get stuck on that 2-3" rock/root/curb/crack/leaf, or by the time you get un-stuck, well, re-spawn. Don't even try chasing an enemy running from you backwards, while you are in your fastest sprint, the enemy will win that race every time! I haven't even gotten started on the disconnect issues, really tired of the whole zoo(insects included), and an occasional fruit being thrown at me. Nothing like soloing the daily, or doing the nightfall/weekly, getting almost finished with it, and getting booted to orbit, or start screen!! Don't even say it's my network, I've checked it out multiple times, had it checked out multiple times, ISP says there is nothing wrong on my end! Oh, I forgot, your working on it, only since September.................... Just like most of the other issues that are still the same, or worse. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing the next expansion, I've only played this one because I purchased the limited edition, lesson learned there. I likely won't even bother trying to make 34, the whole grind has gotten so old already. I know there will be a few fan boys saying that I shouldn't play anyway, and they are right, but I got caught up in all the hype(last time there), however there are plenty others here that feel similar, if not the same as me.
