This thread is old, full of misinformation and dead. I let it die because I found out I was wrong about a few things (not about Bungie's incompetence though - real tired of it.) But either way I was wrong. It was necro'd by this guy: "Skewhip". Please comment on his post and tell him that he's a bad boy and needs to go to bed without dinner for being a forums Necromancer.
I was forced to save and exit an excellent playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas just to get on and edit this thread. I also had to pause a very pleasant episode of "Parks and Recreation" so I could focus properly and type this message.
Bump this thread all you like Necromancers, for I have fixed it >: )

You only get the emblem if you have space the shader is a rare drop. You don't deserve anything. You get what you get in the chest and nothing more. All the trails stuff is pretty much the best but the sniper maybe and the lmg

1 ReplyI've never got the shader out of the chest. 2 dropped for me after games played. Not sure if it's even possible outta the chest, probably is but not guaranteed. The emblem I get.

Etheric light, motes of light and passage coins are guaranteed. The emblem is guaranteed once. Everything else is luck.

The only guarantee is the emblem, I've done it twice lost the emblem the first time and made sure to have all slots open for the second time. I got the emblem and a hawkmoon but my team didn't get any exotic (except for the emblem) the shader is not guaranteed and neither is an exotic.

Same thing happened to me. I agree. Full emblems and shaders. Only got basic stuff.(no exotoc only got jewel of osiris) Nothing in post master. Guess ill just have to use the sun of osiris instead... lame. I want thst exotic shader and emblem. I feel like I have earned that. 9-0 was not easy by ANY means especially with only the loss is forgiven help. Thats all I had. Not fair Bungie. Not. Fair... I earn way more from doing prison of elders which is a million times easier.

Dude STOP listening to a-holes who make up shit. There is NOT A guaranteed exotic drop from the chest on mercury. I achieved A flawless victory today , beforehand I MADE SURE I had space in ALL slots. I did not receive an exotic, therefore there is no guarantee of an exotic drop. LIFE LESSON....People talk out of their asses.

Nope. No guaranteed exotic or shader. Not even the emblem is guaranteed. Etheric light you get every time though :-)
