It's possible to be 34 by running EVERYTHING during week 1 on 3 characters GUARANTEED. Under the assumption that most of the 900,000 people who captured Skolas (Source: Weekly Bungie News Report) are living under a rock in terms of virtual know-how I will detail what each new material does. Armor core: 1 can be traded with Varkis for a arm-piece week one, this changes each week. Weapon core: 1 can be traded in with Varkis week one for a less than exceptional weapon auto rifle, I'm told the Shotgun is good though. // 1 Also can be used with 1 armor core for Judgements chance. Judgements Chance: 1 armor core & 1 weapon core. A package available at Varkis to either get a light level 42 fallen themed armor piece or fallen themed weapon. Etheric light: 1:1 ratio between material and armor/weapon which can make ANY LEGENDARY its max stat for year one. 365 damage on a gun or 42 light level on an armor piece. If the weapon/armor is not fully maxed you can still ascend it but have to put materials into it before reaching its max stats. ///Now the Strategy/// PoE grants the following by difficulty: PoE 32 for armor core, 34 for etheric light & weapon core, 35 for etheric light & armor core & weapon core. The PoE thereby (by character) totals to 2 etheric light and a 2 armor cores which can be redeemed at Varkis for an arm-piece armor (2 weapon cores which can be used [in part see below] to buy judgements chance). Ascend an exotic (Remember no exotic boots on a Warlock from Prior to HoW // not an arm-piece either as you will get that from the armor core) Following the above will get you level 34 on all 3 characters prior to Trials of Osiris GUARANTEED. Below are the random chances which can speed up the process: "Judgements Chance" at Varkis (1 Armor & 1 Weapon core) can also be used to get a Fallen light 42 themed gear piece. Do it on the character you are wanting to level up prior to using etheric light. GET TO 33 FIRST BEFORE TRYING THIS on each character so you don't have to grind a 34 PoE as a a Lvl 32. If you get a piece from "Judgements Chance" then you can spend a etheric light on ascending a legendary weapon of your choice. Also the nightfall can drop etheric light, I got none. I'm going to do the Trials of Osiris to try to get the 42 light chest piece on each character especially the titian as the heavy ammo glitch with a surplus heavy weapon equipped (corrective measure) with ruin wings = 7 heavy ammo per pack which equates to utter annihilation by Gjallarhorn on Lvl 35 Skolas Revenge.
