Please Bungie, more vault space with each new DLC
I know plenty of Guardians don't have this problem, but for some it is an urgent, nearly game-breaking issue.
[b]Vault space was increased during The Dark Below. However, I believe many players in this community wish to have it expanded once again to match the "gear-swell" we are experiencing with the House Of Wolves expansion.[/b]
I have many weapons of legendary rarity, I cannot acquire any more weapons due to vault space restrictions. My character is almost always full in all 3 weapon categories. It isn't uncommon for me to have 20+ engrams in my mailbox after a day of play, leveling my Cryptarch has become near impossible due to the amount of time I have to spend making space for the engrams. It's becoming a serious issue for many players.
Trying to use "Mule" characters to carry my gear is tedious as can be, I can't play the characters carrying the gear until I transfer everything to another character, which is even more troublesome when I'm limited to the space in the Vault. Even with the Destiny App, it is impractical to spend so much time and effort to play a game.
I don't see how adding Inventory space or Vault space would be an issue. Even if you even decided to add extra "pages" to our inventory space. Most players wouldn't use it, but the option would be there. [b]I would gladly pay max glimmer for another "page" of inventory space.[/b]
[b]Are there any plans to expand in the future?[/b]The amount of gear I've acquired in the past two days alone made this problem so much more glaring than it was during the last expansion. I would love to hear back from you, Bungie.

3 RepliesThere can be NO MORE VAULT SPACE WITHOUT CUTTING OUT PARTS OF THE GAME. It is a technical issue of how much load a console can handle before blowing up. Maybe if they decided to cut last gen consoles like they should have at the eery start, we could have 2, maybe 3, pages of Vault Space. If you want more space, talk to Bungie about deleting PvP or player inventories.

Dude, get rid of some stuff. You can't possibly be using all of it. Keep the best of the best and dismantle the rest you can live without. There is a solution to your problem right in front of you, and it's easier for you to dismantle old stuff than it is for Bungie to try and squeeze more water from a stone. [spoiler]The stone mentioned above is the old-gen limitations that are holding back new-gen in regards to vault space[/spoiler]

We really do need more space I'll bump for that but I don't see why it would take memory. In skyrim or fallout you could hoard as much as you want but i don't think we should be constricted.

The vault on the Reef should have been a completely different vault offering the same space as the original. I am about to start dissmanteling weapons I really want to keep but just have no more room. Bad part is I did this before and right after I did it Bungie increased vault size.

That should just make the reef vault a separate vault.

10 RepliesThey do want to expand this, they've explained with the last time vault space was upgraded because of the server limitations on the xbox 360 and ps3, and that they barely manage the current vault space without breaking them

Edited by Kweh: 5/22/2015 4:36:13 PMI agree we need more vault space. It's dumb we can't toss synths (even more so since we are slammed with them from chests) and telemetries. It also sucks that these new glimmer items are not stackable. There are also items for shaders, ships, and others that we can't even cash in until we are of appropriate rank. Wasting even more space. I seriously question their thought process with these kinds of decisions. It's pretty dang stupid and laughable.

It was very bad before, and now it's near impossible to not dismantle things just to make space. I would give all my things for more space, i need it badly.

Paying glimmer or something else for it wouldn't be the worst, but it should be free. I'm not typically the one to whine for more vault space, but yes, it is totally needed. I understand if it can't be done on old consoles, but it would be nice if we could at least get more space on the new gen.

Totally agree. I barely had the space pre-HoW. Now I can't keep the new weapons I keep getting due to the space limitations and my love for the old guns I had.

2 RepliesNot to hip on this part so can someone sum up the technical reasons for not having more space? I know last gen had memory issues or something? How is the inventory tied to memory like that?
