So the vestian dynasty hardly ever actually registers hits in the crucible. Not sure if this is just because it's an inaccurate weapon or if it's intended, but it really bugs me. Just sayin
-
It's inaccurate. It has really high damage with its RoF since its a special weapon. Making it inaccurate as -blam!- was their way of balancing it.
-
I've only done one crucible match and it seemed like it needed me to be aimed with a lot of accuracy. Maybe it's their way of balancing how much damage it does when you get a hit in.
-
The range stat is misleading. I'm betting it's rated against other sidearms. e.g an auto rifle with that range would likely hit better than a sidearm
-
Close range is epic. Ur shooting enemies to far away
-
Finding most weapons seem to have a weird sighting.
-
Its a close range gun so it wont get consistent hits if ur in medium to far range.
-
Ive noticed this in PvP and PvE, sometimes I will be standing right in front of an enemy and shooting and not seeing any hit markers, nor health decrease.
-
I've run across that in PVE.
-
Yes! I'm like, that was definitely a head shot. *guardian down*
-
I don't have a problem with it in crucible. It's actually become my go to gun.
-
Stand closer. It's very short ranged.
-
No issues with it as long as you aim. Dont hip fire it, drifts a little when you do
-
Yeah maybe it has the old vex bug because its the same damn way.
-
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/122788623/0/0 Sights get misaligned once you start firing. Your shots will go below your red dot after the first shot or two. This also happens when hip firing unfortunately.

It seems to have A LOT of aim assist if I can believe the destinty wiki if you compare it to these 'commonly' used weapons. Hope that the other stats help you a little bit too! http://www.destinygamewiki.com/wiki/Vestian_Dynasty http://www.destinygamewiki.com/wiki/Ice_Breaker http://www.destinygamewiki.com/wiki/The_Last_Word http://www.destinygamewiki.com/wiki/Felwinter%27s_Lie

I was treasure key farming in skywatch and while I was waiting I was trying to shoot guys at long range with it and it seems like there is a bullet delay because it takes a fraction of a second to have the hit marker come up compared to it coming up instantly with something like a scout rifle. Also if I shot at something far away that was standing still and I lined up the shot but it missed anyways so it might have bullet drift also... my guess is that if this is real and isn't just my mind tricking me then I then it is just bungie's attempt to balance this really overpowered gun
