FALLEN JOURNAL ENTRY (Something I whipped up for fun)

Did some experimenting a long while ago with creating Grimoire entries for the fun of it. Not too long ago I decided to make this. It details an encounter between some Fallen and a fireteam of Guardians told from the point-of-view of a Fallen Captain. --- TRANSLATED FALLEN JOURNAL ENTRY ---- There were ten of us at the time. Seven Dregs, two Vandals, and myself; a Captain. Earlier that day we had crushed a swarm of Hive that attacked an outpost in Old Russia. Now, we were going after bigger fish. A smell team of Guardians was reportedly attacking a Fallen settlement and needed stopping. My team was a high-ranking Devil squad. Countless Guardians fell underneath the blade of my sword. This time would be no different. Fast forward to our encounter with the Guardians. We met in a standoff: all three of them stood before my squad. One of them wielded many blades and wore a hood that covered most of her helmet. The other two wore robes of the purest Light. They're helmets looked as though they has been treated by the tomes of the Hive. They all aimed their guns at us in an attempt to force a surrender. This wasn't a common practice amongst Guardians, but it was one I had seen before. I yelled at my Dregs to scatter around them. The Guardians didn't react to this. My Vandals fell back to lengthen the line-of-sight between them and the Guardians. I stood before the three of them. My mask was damaged from the previous encounter with the Hive, by my purpose held true. My rifle was hot, and my blade was hungry for more Light. One of the Warlocks (those who bore the robes of Light) mouthed something I couldn't hear, and the Hunter (the blade wielder) cloaked herself. One of my Dregs had its throat slit by her invisible blade. The other Guardians began to fire at me. I returned fire while backing toward my Vandals. Their Wire Rifles propelled shots past both sides of me and into the enemy fireteam. One of them struck the invisible Hunter in the head as she sped toward the last Dreg. She uncloaked and fell to the snow in a dead slump. One of the Warlocks began to glow purple and screamed with rage. His tightly clenched fist became a ball of Void energy, and he hurled it right at me. I teleported away, but my Vandals were caught in the explosion. That Warlock...that foolish Warlock rushed at me, still glowing brightly. He was hit twice in the side by my Dreg, and for a second his attention fell off of me. I took a step forward while teleporting toward him. With two hands I grabbed his arms. With the others I pummeled his midsection relentlessly. The other Warlock was shooting at my Dreg. With all four hands I threw the beaten Warlock into a boulder. He twitched, but did not recover. I unsheathed my blade - my hungry blade - and advanced toward the remaining Guardian. She was still trying to take down my Dreg. Fortunately this Dreg was extremely intelligent and nimble. While she was distracted, I grabbed her arm and waste with my two left arms and spun her around. She dropped her gun and grabbed my sword-arm as I went to impale her. As she struggled to hold my arm back, I used two of my hands to forcefully remove her helmet. I wanted to see the shock of death on her face when I cut her down. She was pale in the face with short hair; almost none. Her eyes met mine and I sensed something in her. She hadn't wanted to kill me. This is why she slacked when trying to kill the Dreg. She wasn't just afraid of the situation, she was regretting killing my kind. In all of my years, I had never seen or felt such a feeling in a Guardian. I eased myself and relaxed my sword-arm. She backed away while lowering her arms to her sides and looked at me, trying to find something she could connect to. I will never understand Humans...she seemed so surprised when I thrust my sword into her stomach, as if she was expecting me not to.
