With the announcement of yooka laylee, and who knows what rare is announcing at e3...supposedly something (fun as hell).
Is there anyone else going back and playing these games again? I sure am! :]
Did you know?, there are two Yooka Laylee jungle music samples on the kick starter page? They sound amazing.
Also it's been confirmed that there will be crazy transformations to Yooka Laylee just like in the Banjo Kazooi days. Hype :]

Edited by Vgnut: 5/12/2015 5:22:42 AMNot really excited for anything from Rare. They've long been a husk of a developer. Everyone that made Rare great is long gone. It's why people are excited for Yooka Laylee. I am interested in seeing a return of 3D platformers. Outside of Mario Galaxy (which was a masterpiece) they felt lacking last gen. Banjo and Sly 4 were good. They could be especially successful as $40 titles sold digitally. At least that's the route I hope they take. I would love if Nintendo made another 3D platformers outside of Mario.

I had actually been playing both Banjo Tooie and DK 64 recently before the announcement even happened. I'm pretty excited!

Most successful kickstarter ever apparently.

I'd willingly pull 6 feet of barbed wire through my anus to play that game. I haven't played any fun new release since 2010.

someone still has a '64?
-
Would still be more hyped for Yooka Laylee than Banjo Threeie. Microsoft screwed the pooch with Not releasing a Banjo game.

Banjo-Kazooie is an absolute masterpiece. Fact.

You won't find much love for Donkey Kong 64, I still have that and Banjo & Kazooie. May play someday again Banjo was better but Donkey Kong 64 wasn't horrible.
