My only concern is that, since the gameplay is going to be the same, then how can we survive with no shields? Playing legendary diificulty with no shields would push suicide rates through the roof! [Edited on 10.14.2008 8:41 AM PDT]

Soo in the trailer it says 'stay right' and 'proceed with caution' as if to help the ODST Maybe Bungie is doing some Eagle Eye stuff for Recon?

I'm really stoked about this project. I think it has a chance to return to that original Halo feel, and therefore make a big splash in military SF first person shooter history. Bungie, you've got all the balls in your court...so far you haven't dropped a pass. I'm really hoping this ODST character of yours will have traditional armor and health, but no 'experimental shield system.' Give us a challenge, plus some old-skool gaming nostalgia. Another Halo game, Thank God =] and I can appreciate playing as an ODST. You're more bad ass but you got alot more to fear without shields and crazy jumping abilities (not to mention mad melee skills) I'm just excited to kill Elites again:))

But i dont want to wait till next year for the Mythic maps, i want em now! ha, but seriously i cant wait for the expansion of halo 3, it looks pretty cool now that my Q's are answered. but i'd rather see the bungie team workin on some new transeting game instead of pulling a HOLLYWOOD and just milking all the money out of halo until they ruin its rep.

Info is nice, but I wish you guys would finally move on. I'm getting sick of thinning my wallet to you. Might not get these... I was hoping there could be a multiplayer ODST battle ground. If it could be built, it would be cool. Anyway, I wish your skill won't continue to be wasted on the old topic: Halo. You guys have the stuff, but this is an... overkill? Guess so.

First of all Who the hell told you Barack Obama was in the game? Anyway i was wondering how the multiplayer was gonna work out? What kinda character models are there? If those questions can't be answered i'll wait untill you guys spill alittle bit more info sooner or later.

I've got some questions: Can you give us a rough estimate of how long the game play will be for Recon Campaign? Seeing as how it's an expansion. Will the skulls make a return in Recon Campaign? Will there be new skulls for RC? Will we be seeing new vehicles and weapons? Will we finally be able to ride in the transport hogs in RC? If we flip a vehicle are we screwed? I heard Barrack Obama is in the game, is that true?

What is ging on with Halo 3 recon and the mythic maps. IS the new campaign going to be a new disc or are you going to be able to buy it on the dashboard. Also with the mythic maps will they be on the dashboard in 2009 or will they be ealier then that and how many maps will there be?

When playing as the ODST Trooper do you get "Shields" like in Halo CE 2 and 3, or will the screen go red when you are close to dieing and you hide like a noob untill you're all healed like in COD4?
