I don't have much to really say right now other than that it is happening, but I will say that the story will be based around a Hunter and will be set on Venus. I will reveal to you the name in time. Anyway, [b]I have decided on a character name for the main character of [u]Destiny: Ghosts of Venus[/u][/b]. His name is Aroki Rey, Ikora Rey's brother! Haha, just kidding! His name is actually [i]Appavine Zhy[/i]. I have also been a little slow on writing as of late due to my other writing (which are not fan fiction) which includes novel(s), AP Language and Composition class stuff, other various homework, and also a story I am started writing for my school's newspaper that I finally continued writing recently after months of not being able to pass a story road block. But don't worry! I will finish Destiny: Ghosts of Venus eventually! I would like to say a good release period when I have a more solid and likely period in mind, but do know I do have a release period in mind. Also I may be a little slow on release until after I complete the story of House of Wolves. As I said before, I am going to try to not conflict with canon and only create a story that fits into the amazing universe we have been given. [b]Update 6 (12-08-2015 7:13 A.M.)[/b]: It has been quite a long time since I updated this! I have been focused on many other things in the six months since my last update. I have been focused on graduating, and writing material for a major original project of mine. I am still focused heavily on that. I have not forgot about this, though. I have made some adjustments to the story to fit with current Destiny lore as of House of Wolves and Taken King. Destiny: Ghosts of Venus is still coming, please look forward to more updates at some point in the future, soon, and I hope you look forward to reading! Thank you. [b]Update 7 (08-22-2019 9:50 P.M.)[/b]: It has been 3 and a half years. I've graduated High School, Destiny has experienced many major changes and even a sequel. Allow me to not bore you with the insignificant details of this and cut to the chase: I never stopped working on this. The story has changed so many times that when I think about the original storyline I had planned and current lore I... am actually surprised how well it still works. But more importantly, I don't care if it works because it has changed so drastically that the current version is better by a factor of a million. I, of course, doubt anybody will see this. At least, not until after it is out. You see, I have a lot of ideas for this story that have ruminated in my brain for years. And right now, all I can say is. [i]It is so back on.[/i] So be ready for that. One day, you will see it pop up somewhere, and if you ever find this... just know I never forgot about the stupid post I made 3 and a half years prior.
