Prison of Elders thoughts?
Now that the live stream has finished and people have seen what it is like to go to prison, what did people notice, like or dislike about the POE end game activity?

I think they should add saved check points after every round cause they played for over 90 min and they can't finish it, or they were terrible at it and that's why they took so long.

When it finally comes out people will realize how cool it is. The DeeJ stream wasn't the only stream going today. Here's plenty up on YouTube. Much more variety than raids. Random rooms. Different objectives. New bosses. New guns. 3 level modes. One match made mode. And much more. Anyone who is upset is delusional or simply impatient. I can't wait to play this with my buddies. Makes me wish they put split screen in the game.

2 RepliesImo VoG was destinys best work. It took a brain and some serious teamwork. It was filled with complicated puzzles and things to figure out. I will play PoE and all the HoW content. But I feel like horde modes been done one to many times already. It's cod zombies with objectives modifiers and new enemy's. It'll be fun for sure just not the destiny I imagened looking back 6 months ago.

5 RepliesI know people say it will be repetitive, but aren't the raids too? Crotas End is the same every single run. VoG is also the same every time. Enemies spawn in the exact same place every time and you most likely use the same strategy every single time. So they could be called repetitive also. Maybe it won't be as bad as everyone thinks. Looks like it could be pretty challenging at some points. Guess we'll see soon.

I played Call of Duty Ghosts Extinction mode, which was far better than the rest of the game. The areas were much larger (the story more compelling as well), plus it had matchmaking in all difficulties, and it still got old after a while.

I'd rather have this than run the same exact, repetitive map over and over and over and over again until September. What do you guys want? Another TDB?

3 RepliesPros: -people asked for horde mode(though I imagine more wanted more of a "survival" type) and now we have one. -they tried something different - you can solo or match-make - seems challenging, streamers skill aside - it's got some good atmosphere - doesn't seem too short - many randomized and NEW modifiers Cons: -repetitive and linear -no raid= no exploration or puzzle solving -I guess only 3 person teams? I don't mind, but some people do -we don't know how the cheeses will affect gameplay like it has other in game content - not enough loot? (I only saw 1 drop on the stream and no chests) in summary: I say it's cool we get to actually fight in the prison of elders and it's got a new mode type, but it seems the challenge will be the selling point and little else. In the end I see this at being fun until cheeses just make it a thing to do. We'll all be up against an environment piece in a corner somewhere and yelling at each other if it should be patched. So...classic Destiny?

2 RepliesI like the fact we'll now have Vault of Glass, Crota's End, Trials of Osiris, Weekly Heroic Strikes, Nightfall Strikes, Vanguard Dragon, Iron Banner, 28 Arena, 32/34/35 Arena. Pick and choose what you wanna do every week. At least we have a bit of variety going forward.
